Currently in Iceland for a trip. Just been told I will have the opportunity to try fermented shark. Wish me luck will give update. If no update assume I died.
this is later because i never got to post this because I had a few shots then went whale watching and forgot to post this. I DID survive but the shark was terrible. and it was this type of shark.
apparently sometimes they get caught in fishing nets and dragged up to the surface. but because they de pressurize so fast they end up dying pretty soon after. its illegal to hunt or fish them because they are so old but waist not want not and all that.
anyway im glad I had a few shots before eating this thing because it was BAD. 10/10 would do again if I was drunk.
Dat fermented shark.

As Ashley and I are slowly gearing up for our trip, I am starting to plan what food and drink I know I can’t miss on the road. My mind is focused on the land of Ice and fire and all of the wonders of Iceland so for this new Sunday Wine Down (on Monday because we had too much fun on Sunday) I am going to focus on a singular drink that has caught my interest. So sit back, grab a glass of wine and…
