I just finished love in the time of cholera and I am not okay
It was Daza’s turn to come home!
The next morning, the last of Kevin and Garcia’s adoption calls went through, and Daza triumphantly returned to her home. Garcia embraced her, vowing never to let anything happen to one of his family members again.
Daza grieved quietly in front of Gabriel’s tombstone for some time, before being comforted by Garcia that he still had one more move to make to reunite their family. He made sandwiches for the girls, and told them to enjoy their afternoon.
The next morning, Garcia had the greatest breakthrough in his grief and despair yet--he and Kevin were able to successfully adopt Fermina, and his oldest daughter was in his arms again.
She was distraught over the loss of her father, Gabriel, but was promised by Garcia that this was not the end, but only the beginning of their family reuniting. He advised her to continue playing and building her skills, and know that in time, their family would be whole again. The two had dinner with Kevin, but went to bed together, as Garcia hardly would let Fermina out of his sight, after all he had done to get her back.
They looked forward to the next morning, as Daza was coming home.
That evening, Garcia spent his time teaching Daza how to study, while the girls did their homework together. Gabriel then took advantage of a burst of inspiration to work on his painting, while Fermina played with Macano and built a snowman outside. The family enjoyed a late night breakfast for dinner!
Meanwhile in the Marquez household, Gabriel, Garcia, Daza, Fermina, and Macano were enjoying life!
The family spent quality time together, but began feeling that their house was getting a little too small for their growing family!
Gabriel and Garcia dreamed of having a house big enough that their daughters could play in--and perhaps future children too!
The Marquez’ household was as busy and connected as ever!
Gabriel and Garcia tried to grab a few moments together when they could, in between taking care of Fermina, Daza, and of course Macano!
Garcia happily taught Fermina how to study while Fermina taught Daza her first nursery rhyme!
Gabriel played with Daza, proud of how much she had grown! He knew that her toddlerhood was flying by quickly!
I drew my psychotic character from the musical i’m in. For any curious it’s Man of La Mancha, a beautiful show. Her name is Fermina
Time taken: 3 hours
Utensils: Pencil, eraser, one math notebook
Gabriel, Garcia, Fermina, and Macano were a very happy family in Riverblossom Hills.
Gabriel spent his time taking care of his toddler daughter as well as the rambunctious family dog, while making time for his painting skill as well! Gabriel enjoyed being able to somewhat support the family with his talents, allowing Garcia to take some time off work to spend time with Fermina as well.
The little family stayed busy and happy together--and Garcia found himself thinking of expanding the family even further!
