I.C.A. & Fermun Beers Dark Elves Double American Rye Black IPA (Picked up at Xic in Barcelona). A 3 of 4. At 7%, this doesn’t really reach “Double” territory, but delivers a great nose of roast and toffee and darker malt notes as well as some herbal and pine hop notes. Much the same in the body -- this is quite aggressive on the palate and finishes quite bitter and astringent. Nice and complex.
