So, this is a portuguese troma production (the country where i was born and still live to this day, and against my will, one where movies like this don't really have that much of a market nor recognition). Mutant Blast is Fernando Alle's first feature film and it actually really really surprised me for how fun, creative, entertaining and well-made it turned out to be. I was actually lucky enough to have the movie passing in a shopping theatre 10 mins away from my home (in a city where nothing cool ever happens, besides this) and got to meet the director and, guess who... the Master himself, Sir Lloyd Kaufman (I WAS SHIVERING DUDE and we hugged and had a nice chat and i even got a little emotional 'cause i'm a sensitive mudafuka who grew up finding comfort in his movies. He's probably the only person that i look up to that didn't disappoint me when i met him in real life ahaha.

But yeah, for sure one of my favorite troma releases and probably one of the best. Make sure to check it out if you're into this kinda thing.
