i have a lot of things i should really be doing which did NOT include making a bunch of recolors of one of my fave cc items so really this is the perfect time to make a bunch of recolors of one of my fave cc items :^) n what i chose to do was bienchen83's animated lizards & rodents cages!

i shall talk more about it n provide links under the cut!

so i loveeee these lizards n rodents sm !! i don't even use the lil womrat cage that comes with the pets expansion tbh ,, which is ironic bc i DO have recolors of that, n i couldnt find more recolors anywhere so i decided i shall make some! (there is a womrat cage in the set tho! i believe there's also a default replacement there too but also a custom version).

i used a few palettes: lack colors from michelle, luasims colors, ricardo colors from icad, n yeti colors from shastakiss (i didn't do whites or like the dark blacks--there's a white recolor provided but i just mashed the original white wood recolor together with the original white cage recolor if that makes sense, n there's already a dark black wood recolor available in the original download). i wanted to do anna colors too but i didn't use color actions (cries all over firealpaca) n got burnt out flipping between the blending modes n seeing the colors not being close enough for me to settle. maybe for the best bc...

all together there are ,, like 104 recolors bc leave it to me to get too carried away with something, i didn't realize i made that many until i was done lmaoo. they're separated into folders with the white recolor just chillin outside of them so you can just choose for yourself if you'd like! there's also pics of the color palettes included since i don't have any more spoons to get a full swatch on the mesh, n all files are named after both the palette n the color!

the meshes are NOT included, but the link to everything you need is right here on modthesims!! the master mesh is the squirrel cage so all the rest of the pet cages will pull these colors too :^)

i hope im not forgetting anything i'm tired n recovering from being sick i feel like everyone's getting sick in maryland. everyone please take care! n lmk if there's anything wrong!

i've made a few sc4 terrains for myself n decided, why not share them in case anyone else would like them? i decided that was a pretty splendid idea hehe!

so!! i have three sc4 terrains to share! not quite perfect (i think the tutorial i followed told me not to drag the roads off the edge of the map?) but still made with love! i wish i remembered what tutorial taught me how to make sc4 terrains, but i did indeed use greatcheesecakepersona's hoodplanner to help plan them out! MAJOR BLESSING!!

i personally prefer smaller terrains with roads that have an exit/entry point and are a bit closer together so i made these! bought simcity 4 just to make them honestly haha, that game is so hard ,, i only open it to make n edit terrains for sims 2 now it's just a sims 2 tool to me atp LMAOO

to install these terrains, put the extracted files in your documents/ea games/the sims 2/sc4terrains folder! whatever your path may be haha

anyways i oughta learn to stop yapping (i wont), onto the terrains!

Junimo Shore ♡ junimo shore indeed is a stardew valley reference, i've got sdv brainrot bad (fun fact: the two roads at the bottom are called stardrop street and cindersap road! those are my only two residential roads so that's all haha) ♡ the road that stops at the mountains seems weird i know, it's because i put a tunnel there from criquette's ultimate railway set! then i just put a bunch of rocks around it haha ♡ download linkies: [sfs] [mf]

New Giwen ♡ this isn't even his original form haha, new giwen started off with very few roads since he was created for my off-camera bacc, i just added more roads as needed! i probably won't be playing new giwen anymore (ily 4eva bb) so this is likely his final form! (actually my current new giwen has two more roads but idk what i did with that file) ♡ shoutout to my cat nigiri, who i call giwen haha that's where the name comes from (my mom now calls nigiri "old giwen") ♡ i'm pretty sure i have a blueprint of the rest of the roads i was thinking of adding somewhere, if i find it i might finish it up and share it for you guys! ♡ download linkies: [sfs] [mf]

i recently said i was considering slowly making lots (and sims) i build (and make) available for download, and i figured the starter homes i built for my youtube bacc would be an okie place to start! also bc these are among the very first lots i've built myself haha.

included are five starters, the very ones that started port taylor :^) their styles are pretty simple as my idea was to give them a bit more personality once my founders moved in and acquired enough money to renovate--i liked the idea of the starting homes all being similar like a newly built neighborhood!

a lot of my lots have small closed-off sections--they're for when i expand houses during my gameplay, stairs will go there!

i ran into some mild (i guess) hiccups as i was preparing them for upload, i've included what specifically in the info text documents with the houses that had them, but it should all be fine! just kinda annoying to me lmaoo. also included are floorplans and additional pics of the houses!

they're not cc free! not cc heavy as the furnishing is very minimal, mostly build mode stuff. also i have ultimate collection if that matters!

it took me a few tries to do it properly (it turns out that packaging lots with cc does like every recolor for a mesh you have rather than just the one recolor so i had a BLAST -sarcasm- removing all the extra stuff and tryna figure out which recolor it is specifically) so lmk if there's any issues please!

it's OCTOBER YALL so i wanted to make some halloween recolors! i had the idea to make some based on halloween decor we have at our house :^) the pumpkins are like lil sculptures irl but i think they make cute lil wall arts too!

now that i’m done with editing my youtube videos i decided to take a mini break n retexture more poppet v2 hair! i wanted to do more but four of them didn’t work out, photoshop hated them ig ?? or i was clumsy idk all i know is photoshop said nah n force quit itself when i’d try to save haha, well here are the ones that survived! 

alsoo raon m008 3t2 had a texture that was kinda tricky so i personally think it looks kinda weird idk maybe i’m overthinking it but ! i included it so you guys can be the judge of that hehe.

oh also the haneco hair is with wavy textures! since i need more haha, i might do straight textures for it too at some point possibly.
