Setsuna stared down at the gift she’d been given While she appreciated the concern (especially coming from Beruka, considering what she’d heard) she couldn’t help but be a bit stumped by her reasoning. She was fairly certain that no one was really after her, but would it be rude to inform the assassin of that? 

“Thank you.” She said, looking up at the assassin with a sheepish smile. “I’ll be sure to…look out for anyone dangerous.”

👑 + "Spend the night with me? It's not really a command of course, but I could not think of how to spend my one. I hope you don't mind I'm using it on you."

The end of the night was nearing. Chrom sat upon a hill, a little ways from where most gathered to watch the light show. A little enamored with the display above, he hadn’t notice Robin approach. He leaned close to them as they spoke, resting his body against their shoulder.

It had been a long night.

Things were still new between the couple. A little tentative; but true, and deep. He reached over to take their hand in his own. “For you, anything.”

He stood; and with their joined hands helped them up, as the last of the sparks ignited the sky. “Let’s go home.”

👑 Cordelia holds her book to her chest nervously as she approaches, but still manages to look him in the eyes for once. "I have a request, my pr-- er, Chrom. Can you..." Her cheeks flush slightly, but she soldiers on. "...Can you smile for me? Just once?"

The fireworks had just began when Cordelia approached. He’d seen her about and even spoke with her very briefly, but this was the first time they talked since; right before the end.

The night breeze that swept through his hair was nice now that the helmet had been abandoned. His robes bristled some.

Though she had made a request, her answer came naturally from him. Gently he took her hands away from her chest; away from the book, and holds them.

He smiles at her. Most widely, most genuinely. So widely his eyes crinkle.

“You called me Chrom...” he says as a firework combusts; thrumming through the airways.

It's more sleight of hand, really- Maybe it was his usual habits coming back to him as the night progressed, but the mask was in the sage's hands before he hoped the man would react- It was a simple one, sleek, black, with a pointed nose portion, a stark contrast to his own regal garb. Hopefully the gold embroidery on the fabric wouldn't catch the light and give him away.

He had been talking; mingling within the crowd. Attention here and their and his head a bit fuzzy. The slightest movement in his hand revealed something in it that wasn’t there before. He brought the item to to inspect.

A mask. Simple, but elegant. He looked around to find the giver, but could find none...

Toothpick and Mask

Innes looks at the two items as if Tana had given him two dead animals.  “A toothpick?  What is this even supposed to mean?”

“Also, what in the world do you wish to get to know me better for?  We’re already family.”

“…Tana, are you drunk?”  Innes leans in to check his sister’s breath.  No alcohol stench.

“I suppose those all sound like things you would say.”  Though to be honest he still thinks some sort of strange substance is at play here.  “Tana, I would advise YOU to work on your naivety, but we’d be rehashing an old conversation.  At least I won’t be taken advantage of.”

“W-what kind of command is that?!” Innes chokes out.  “Tana, you’re being irresponsible.”

But unfortunately she seems to be refusing to budge.

“…Fine, I’ll choose you.”  He pauses.  “How am I supposed to kiss the ground and sing bard tunes at the same time?!”
