Vessel just makes me think of possession, which of course makes me think of Ferreus and The Bitch. She’s the phantom in his head and his heart, and he’s Her vessel. Them’s the breaks.

Still catching up! Ferreus has been in his fair share of deserts, but wandering the Sahara without being able to die of thirst was probably an absolute trip. Just dunes for days.

Day 5 - Blade

This prompt seemed obvious. Ferreus is all about the blade- the ones he made, the one he kept, and the one whose edge he’s lived on for centuries. Plus I just love drawing him in his fantasy outfit.

Day 19 - Sling

The poison for Kuzco. Kuzco’s poison.

Ferreus doesn’t stay injured- even if that arm were to stay ripped off, he’d eventually just grow another one. But for the sake of coming off like a normal human being (hAH) Slav put it in a sling. Ferreus keeps forgetting about it.

Any chance to draw Ferreus doused in blood, I will take. Technically when he’s like this he’s of two minds, but it’s mindless violence all the same.

Day 18 - The Superhuman

Inktober continues! I’m pulling the ones I like best from these lists. All of my drawings will be tagged #inktober 2018.

Ferreus definitely counts as superhuman. I mean, he’s mostly human, if you don’t count the immortality and the fact that he can reattach that arm any time he likes. It’s probably a good thing he doesn’t have the emotions to give pain meaning- because that must hurt.
