Is anyone ever going to explain to me why Andromache stopped looking for Quynh????

Had all the time in the world. In a known general area of Ocean (narrowed down at a minimum) Had the resources, connections and money. But gives up looking for her immortal love? Meanwhile for 500 years Quynh kept hope, not just to be found but to escape and save Andromache from the same faith. Idk it's just giving lopsided.

⚠️Spoiler for The Old Guard 2 (movie and comic)⚠️

Reading The Old Guard: Force Multiplied means realising just how badly they fucked up the second movie. Like, guys, c'mon?! :

In the comic Noriko/Quynh is the most badass villain to ever villain, there isn't this illogical nonsense about losing your immortality by getting hurt by Nile; Joe and Nicky are total cuties who don't fight about Booker and Booker, the sweet depressed french fry, doesn't fucking die!!

Nile takes more of a leading role, Andromache shows just how screwed up she is and in the end, she and the others part (yes on bad and dramatic terms) BuT then Noriko shows up and helps her. Also. They kiss. And Noriko calls Andy the whole time stuff like "my love/heart" etc.

No Tuah, no Discord (stupid name btw, I was giggling every time I heard it); no reason to question the dreams cuz wdym they never dreamt of Tuah OR Discord even tho they said in the first movie/comic that they all dream of eachother until they meet (?); no unnecessary drama, just pure entertainment and found family bullshit...

and then they hand us the second movie and are like:

"there. Isn't it beautiful?"

NO IT ISN'T! It's a disaster and a disgrace and I wanna flush it down the toilet

(that being said, I still liked the second movie but ONLY because of the amazing job the actors did)
