Oh my god bangs... They made me late for school everyday in 4th-5th grade! I think black hair goes great with brown/black skin. The next best color would be, imo, brunette lol. That's of we're still talking about natural colors tho u should go for it

Yeah the reason she thinks it wouldn't look good on me is because my hair is naturally fairly light brown (for a black person at least lol) and it would be such a drastic change and she said it would make me look sick and pale. Idk haha. But yeah, i'll try it someday with a temporary black hair spray or something

lol well I already have pretty thick hair but yeah I agree, her hair is VERY thick. My hair is like a medium brown with natural blondish-reddish highlights sometimes (idk why, i'm the only person in my family who has that) and I really wanna dye my hair black but my mom said I would look weird. And I want bangs but they're a huge commitment and I haven't had them since 6th grade and I looked horrible
