GOD okay so the space worm's existenceseses are complicated and two of them are actually owned by @cawigosto so he could probably explain parts of it better if i get anything wrong BUT (haha forgot to mention the hub and most of his worlds are literally intertwined as the same universe too lol) so currently there’s three worms in existence currently (calling them worms is. a bit inaccurate); Soet, Escha, and Pelago. (cawigosto drew. all these images btw) from what i understand about the first two,
• SOET used to be like.. KIND OF A PERSON at one point in history and then. just. got turned into a fucked up space worm unintentionally by Pelago, and then they suddenly had already existed since the beginning of time. however i’m also told this is potentially vague and may not be entirely solid? the issue with these worlds is that outside of me working on my main stories is the whole of all the universes is incredibly fucked up and reality is folding in onto itself constantly and Soet has existed forever and simultaneously only started existing at a certain point in time. • ESCHA used to be “basically reality glue that started to exist as a worm as realities got pulled apart from each other” which A LOT OF THAT is soet and a lot of other spaceworms’ faults. theres no image of Escha yet stop SIDENOTE ABOUT REALITIES THO
helpful diagram by sidriel <3 basically what happens is that the primary realities (Ɑ) become resistant to large story altering changes. they’ll often create B and G (Г) realities. B reality’s are more for thought out alternate timelines that branched off the main path for whatever reason and are more resistant to getting absolutely bulldozed by a worm, while G realities are smaller ‘what if’s’ and slightly alternate paths that are often small changes enough that they’ll often collapse into larger realities or into nothingness. G realities can ABSOLUTELY get tunneled through by spaceworms they’re so easy to destroy. BASICALLY the relevancy is that space worms kinda would go around realities enough that the reality glue weakened enough to create its own spaceworm. reality glue getting weakened can happen for a few other reasons but this is like. the most relevant reason I WILL STOP GOING OFF ABOUT THIS PAR. also trust me i only focus on the primary realities! sid however goes INSANE with his realities.
• PELAGO honestly just kinda started existing one day and is one of the oldest worms from natural existence. he didn’t suddenly become a worm one day like soet and then got shoved into always-having-existed history, he was just. already there. however as a result of that he intentionally causes SO many issues on purpose and is the main reason why a lot of base lore happens such as Soet becoming a worm due to weakened reality reasons THERES A LOT OF OTHER SPACEWORMS BUT THESE ARE THE MAIN THREE RIGHT NOW AND I LOVE THEM. ALSO THIS DOESNTT EVEN TOUCH ON HOW WORM FRAGMENTS WORK THE WEIRD KINDA-HUMANS AND THE STARS!!!!! MY GOD!!!!!!
