#gravity falls #stanley pines #stan pines #stanford pines #ford pines #stanuary #fex draws #song is time by pink floyd in case you can't click on it #there's a certain subset of gf fans who would consider this a ford song bc it was a plot point in an ask blog (hi wwtd crew)#but lately when i've been listening to it i can't help but think of stan #time marching on and ford making plans for the future while stan gets left behind bc people didn't think he had a future worth anything #clinging to his childhood dreams where anything was possible as long as he had his brother by his side #the lyric being 10 years also fits with it being the 10th stanuary. something i personally have been lowkey having a crisis about ngl #it's such a huge milestone. a time to look back and reflect on life and how much you've grown and changed #and yet in so many ways i feel like i've spent the decade in a kind of stasis out of fear of living #and it's hard to not feel bad about so much time wasted that i'll never get back #tl;dr just having some hashtag relatable stangst feelings
