i am so glad you have the same amount of unbridled love for the scvi pokemon as i do. there are only like one or two i dont vibe with theyre all So!!!

YESSS they're all great! the team i beat the champion and final boss with ended up being all new guys, actually :)

BUT there's so many other good ones (paradox pokemon especially) that i wanna use too.. they just did a really good job with the pokemon designs this gen

thank you! i tend to be very scatterbrained when it comes to writing down headcanons, but um, here's a few about botw zelda specifically!

if zelda had been allowed to pursue sheikah tech as thoroughly as she wanted, she would have been able to stop the calamity. i feel like aoc points toward this; she's a genius, and if rhoam had just NOT had a stick up his ass, she could've prevented the corruption of the guardians/divine beasts and whooped ganon three ways to sunday, divine powers or no.

speaking of that, post-aoc (and potentially post-botw as well!) zelda becomes a scientist/engineer ! let her pursue her dreams nintendo 🔪

(she also gets to pursue other hobbies, like photography and biology !)

i think she and link make an Idiot Duo like.. zelda hands him a potion made of dubious ingredients to test and he downs it without asking questions and with no concern for what it will do

anyway i just want her to have some time to be happy and recover from the extreme trauma. points at totk like Do Not Blow This For Us

(referring to this) ask and ye shall receive, heres some stuff i had written down for the concept;

era of hyrule's rebirth:

they're hylian and not lokomo because i'm very fond of ingo and emmet as Just Some Weird Guys and not particularly magical... you could call them "honorary lokomos" though!

they are able to see ghosts (ie zelda)! when it comes to ghosts or spirits, ingo is usually the first to spot them, and he points them out to emmet.

emmet is fond of skulltullas, and skulltullas are fond of emmet! travelling through wooded areas or caves, they'll drop down to say hello to him (crawl on him) instead of attacking.

(^princess zelda was not happy to find out emmet is a spider magnet)

chancellor cole found both of them obnoxious, and was loud about this fact. the feeling was mutual.

era of the great voyage:

ingo arrives post-byrne. anjean doesn't like to talk about byrne, so ingo isn't quite sure what happened to anjean's "real apprentice."

(and byrne, when he finds out, is not too happy about being "replaced".)

ingo plays the shakuhachi flute because the regular and pan flute were already taken by other lokomos; also, it's similar to the celestica flute (at least in the sense of how its held)

ingo finds a lot of people in the past familiar -- link, tetra, gonzo, etc -- but can't quite put his finger on why.

he knows for sure he knows anjean somehow, but she doesn't know him, so they can't have actually met before... right?

you know who PLA Ingo reminds me of? Nanu from sun and moon

both look grumpy at first and both love cat pokémon (they also both have important roles in the story, Nanu being a Kahuna and Ingo being a Warden)

i do kinda see what you're talking about! they have the same vibes design-wise for sure. they both look kinda hard to approach? although they definitely have different vibes personality wise lol... nanu is Actually a grumpy old man (affectionate) and ingo Just Looks Like That
