In the kane kronicle true names are important for magic stuff just like in feaiy stuff as the feae are known to yoink names

like all I want rn is for some fucked up fey to come through the window and bamboozle me into subservience with some transsexual glamour magic

I realize I never expressed what Peter OR Fanden look like without their glamours. Eventually I need to compile a master list for my fairy bbes.

Fanden, on the other hand, has a lot of specifics. He's a huldrekarl, meaning "concealed" or "secretive". He was born with a bull's tail, which was later hacked off by forces TBA. He was also born with cerulean skin; slightly pocked in places with darker blue marks--birthmarks or even freckles. His eyes are completely green save for a vague rim of white; and much wider/larger--more like amphibious eyes. His fingers are longer, and have an extra joint--with retractable webbing. He's long and frail and thin-looking, with rows of sharp teeth (much like his cousin, Kieran). His hollow back, a part of all huldrekarl lore, contains glowing lights that dance and gleam on their own--rather like trapped, neon-blue fireflies, they shift and glow in time to his pulse. His heart contains chambers more along the lines of a fish or water-dwelling animal. His ears are long, thin, pointed, and end in spiky black barbs. His tongue is black and forked.  I might add more to this later, as it's pretty...detailed. :V;
