no idea how to post it here but I’ve made an entire… visual essay? notebook? thing? of mens clothes from 1700 to now and here’s a few things I sketched from that huge pile of inspiration. Traced a photo of me for the figure and I’m trying to figure out what would look best on my shape and I have… no idea 😬

The left is more (early) 1920s and the right is more (late I think) 1930s. They’re no where near perfect but it’s hard to draw things when my proportions are so strange. I think I definitely want peak lapels to widen my shoulders and slanted hip pockets. but I don’t know about the button stance. Or the shoulder shape. There’s SO MANY tiny details that make up a suit. And I also don’t want to pick something too difficult for my first ever suit (bc they’re so intense to make). I also want something that looks “classic” and not like a costume. I want to be able to wear it around, not have it sit in my closet

some studies of menswear from 1730sish to 1950sish to today. Trying to mix and match things and come up with something new (that actually looks good on my odd shape). Excited to pick a design to start drafting and sewing! I need more clothes that actually fit right.

The first pic is of different waistcoats and things (sleeveless), the second pic is of different coats/jackets, and the last pic is of different trousers.

I think trousers are the most difficult to figure out what I want/what looks best. It’s harder to mix and create something that looks acceptably “modern enough” that I won’t get odd looks when I wear it out of the house. Considering just using a 1940s pattern

heard mtg is getting raccoon as a creature type (they’re anthro/furry raccoons that are gangsters) and I’ve been obsessed so have these little pen sketches

thinking about a dnd campaign on new capenna where I play a raccoonfolk that has halo in their blood or is somehow angel-touched (a divine soul sorcerer). I think it would be cute

this is quick little sketch but it’s the first piece of art I’ve done in months so ? it’s kinda cute besides my pens running out of ink. Reminds me of the horses I drew in high school. I really want to get back into art stuff (I’ve been feeling really sick lately) But Anyway, I watched the new my little pony movie and I enjoyed the first 85% of it! And then I watched the 2017 MLP movie. I’ve missed ponies. I want to draw more of them!

learning to draw cats so here’s some messy sketches~

my fursona! Lumi! I originally was like “I’m going to draw myself as an animal crossing villager” and then I was like ok... be honest, that’s just a fursona. So uhh here he is. I want to draw more of him :3

I know cats can’t be blue merle but he’s a nebelung and they’re already blue-grey and blue merle dogs are special to me so I thought I’d spiff it up a bit. Also, most animal crossing cats don’t have hair so that’s why he doesn’t here. I’ll make a drawing eventually where he does have hair, but it’s an oat-ish kind of color with blue and aqua highlights in a curly mullet ish style.

oh aaand the band of white on his right paw? that’s supposed to represent the white ring some aros wear on their middle finger

these are some of the first things I made with clip studio! Just experimenting with the way the brushes feel and all, nothing fancy (I have better artwork I promise)

I’ve been working on a backstory for all my characters and drew a few of them while I’m in the middle of it. First: Tina, Feys mother (swordswoman known as Rending Gale)

Second: Sasha, a panda that has yet to be added to the story
