Maya Fey/Simon Blackquill is growing on me the more I think about it actually.

The fact that Simon's whole Samurai aesthetic would appeal to Maya is obvious, but I think their dynamic would be so funny. Peak Weeb4Weeb insanity.

Simon, master manipulator and supernatural skeptic, witnesses Maya's spirit channeling powers once and is immediately like "My high priestess, my blade is yours whenever you command it. I will protect your honor with my life." because he can't be normal about anything.

Meanwhile Maya, is like "That's great, babe, the Steel Samurai cosplay is on the bed."

They engage in levels of snarkiness previously unheard of. Simon would endure Maya's grueling spirit training sessions without batting an eye. Everyone else is baffled and kind of concerned about the two of them together.

I went to Germany for a week and I've come back with basically no desire to interact with Tumblr.

Every time I actually take a look, I see stuff I like and want to reblog. But I just don't seem to have the energy to hit like two buttons. Maybe it's post-travel depression, I don't know.

Anyway, please have a handful of travel photos.

We went away with the three smallest sets of Klapollos, plus Simonbean and Mayabean.

The Apollos had delicious RED strawberry lemonade.

The Klaviers saw a Hog!

Simonbean and Mayabean shared a romantic moment.

Ita bag full of small plushies outside the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin where Saltatio Mortis (mine and Klavierbean's favourite German rock band) were playing.

Klavierbean rocking out to Bad Loverz, who are honestly and truthfully an American band forgotten since the 1980s, and not just Saltatio Mortis in silly costumes and wigs. Honest.

The Bad Loverz set was honestly the most Klavier Gavin thing ever. I have never before in my life heard an actual German man speaking German with a bad American accent.

Our hotel room in Berlin had a special Bean shelf for storage of small plushes so they didn't get lost in the bed.

Shout out to @sapphire-wine for running Feyquill week. This is my entry for the prompt 'appearances' - a rare bit of traditional art from me, because I've actually been painting a lot more recently. I think Simon and Maya would definitely wear kimono on special occasions. And of course, I am always a weird goff BQ fan. Gotta represent my fellow nerds in black.

Also I think the height difference is cute.
