Just finished the demo and started uploading my videos for it! But my GAWD EMOTIONAL DAMAGE AT THE END OF THE DEMO! Square Enix DID that! Final Fantasy 16 is going to be amazing! It got dark QUICK! Here are screenshots of my reactions as I edited my green screen lmfao. 🤣😂😭 I make the weirdest faces

I played the new demo + eikonic challenge and I enjoyed it. The gameplay does feel like dmc meets kh in a lot of areas, but it also improves upon what xv had started.
The story you can tell was inspired by Game of Thrones, but given WHEN they started coming up with the story, it makes sense. I hope they don't go the whole Clive isn't his mother's son route ala Jon Snow because that would be boring. I mean I see that Clive has some inspirations from Jon with the companion and being sent to the wall and "mother" who dislikes him. Let her be power hungry because she is just that.
I bought FFXIV after seeing the trailer for XVI and Heavensward is one of my favorite expansions for how heartbreaking it could be. The story was really good and I see why after that it became critically acclaimed. Despite having the same team it doesn't feel like a typical final fantasy title but in places GoT the video game, in others it feels like a FF.
Idk how I feel about the lack of a traditional party. FFXIV has the trust system and this reminds me of that with each party member doing their own thing. I hope Jill survives til the end and we don't get Stella 2.0, same with Clive.
Everything was so dark it was hard to use photomode, but the lit scenes were really pretty and colorful. I hope photomode let's me adjust the brightness.
Tbh I'm really excited because the HW team is working on it but kinda nervous it will be GoT the video game. Still I was so into the demo and eikonic challenge I was like where is the rest. The next week is gonna be so long
