favorite thing about them: i love this stupid gay vampire so much you don’t understand. his entire aura. his voice is deeper than the mariana trench. he’s paler than i am. he genuinely thought sleeping in a coffin was a good idea.
but also to actually answer i do love that like. he gets talked into joining the party and ends up stuck with them for life. everytime this loser goes to isolate himself none of them will let him and when they go to pull him into whatever they’re doing he’ll huff and act like he doesn’t wanna get involved but he still goes along with it anyway
least favorite thing about them: ..can i just say dirge of cerberus and call it a day? no? okay well i think lucrecia was um.. maybe Not Worth The Trouble He Went Through? like hojo is 100% the main guy to blame here but lucrecia was Not helping. vince ily but you did not deserve to suffer as much as you did because of you being in love with her 😭
favorite line: ngl i don’t actually remember a lot of his lines, but i do love what he says if you bring him with you for the final confrontation against hojo in og which is “I was wrong.. The one that should’ve slept.. was you, Hojo!” in reference to the fact that vincent blamed himself for what happened to lucrecia and locked himself away in the coffin and tormented himself over it
brotp: yuffie and vincent having a weird friendship is Great but i also do think cloud and vincent have a lot in common that they could bond over that to my knowledge is not talked about as much
otp: i love valenwind cid and vince are yuffie’s weird gay uncles/dads (either is accurate) i’m so excited to see these dorks in ff7r. i don’t have a ton of opinions on them past that but i Love the energy

random headcanon: vincent goes full mama bird when they’re in cold areas and uses his cape as a blanket for the rest of the party bc holy shit aint none of these bitches dressed for the weather, the most warmly dressed people other than vincent are probably cloud and barret and even then they got their arms out.
unpopular opinion: idk if this is an unpopular opinion but as stated above i do feel like vincent does actually like spending time with the party. but he’s also incredibly emotionally constipated about it and doesn’t wanna admit it or open up to them fully for. whichever reasons. probably a mix of not feeling like he deserves it and worrying if he gets too attached he’ll lose them too (which is a sad thing to talk about for this category but i imagine that is probably part of it). but the tldr is that vincent is very much part of the found family here and even if he doesn’t outright admit it he does like spending time with them, thank you for coming to my ted talk
