so laima’s throne in the ghost kingdom has the same eyes symbol seen when the newest celadon piece entered king/canary/antony’s mandragora heart world, along with on the very first title page, etc.
i already figure the ghost kingdom is located in a mandragora heart world, i’m guessing miss mirror’s. and i figure celadon might use these worlds as a means to “get around”, kinda like how she’s used hydragora worms to create bodies for her “pieces”. or well, how she and/or randall figured out how to do that. the back of his labcoat, king’s king pod, plus a bunch of other symbolism stuff point to him or atleast the aiguilles playing a huge role in that....
back on track. we know miss mirror was apparently working with antony, and thus by extension with celadon. if celadon has access or can utilize mandragora webs, and the hekatonkheire ghost kingdom is inside one - are all the hekatons living there basically as good as dead? did celadon manipulate things so that the hekatons had somewhere “safe” to reproduce and multiply?
if celadon does have access to the ghost kingdom, or at least can find it way easier than anyone else, wouldn’t knife’s plan only work if he found and wiped out the entire kingdom?
thinking about ffak’s messed up history of war and lies. history mixed with theories, or maybe vice-versa.
....celadon prime “died”, her corpse was turned into a spaceship by the aiguilles that tricend bought from them. at some point most of the aiguilles were killed, except for randall, maybe cus he’d already signed up with tricend as maintenance/tech-support guy for the ship or other reasons. which btw, in doing so would’ve meant he went against his family’s deal with the dmtian government and/or diemind; the aiguille corp assisted in falsely justifying/assisting the vena cavian genocide in exchange for getting to claim vena cavian tech/meds/advancements as their own.
he and rembrandt made the crosshatch unit, which was one of tricend’s top secret weapons, specifically capable of hacking into diemind’s impenetrable servers to access what remained of the dmtian government. maybe rembrandt was still alive when we see older randall since they both created the crosshatch unit, maybe he was already dead and cross had been around longer than randall’s employment with tricend. my guess is randall was literally the last of the aiguilles at that time.
...anyway, back on track. at what point did the aiguilles make the tricend ship? when did celadon prime “die” in order for her corpse to be utilized? were the aiguilles in contact with celadon prime before she died? how did the numbered celadons come to be? the helpers? was tricend a big contender in the vena cavian “worm outbreaks” like the aiguilles or diemind were?
(btw i think diemind was a corp or company during the “outbreaks”, but later on either absorbed or took control of the dmtian government. idk, maybe they were already one and the same.)
tricend obviously became powerful enough to wage a war - what was it that changed that? was tricend always controlled by worms, or was it covertly taken over over time?
all that to say this - maybe celadon prime was already in contact with the aiguilles or tricend. either consenting or not, she “died”, leaving behind a crazy advanced tech corpse. the aiguilles used this body, learned from it, and made it into a crazy powerful ship. perhaps this ship is what gave tricend the power it needed to wage its war. if they were worms at the time they bought it, not sure the aiguilles would’ve cared - they got a ton of much-needed money, who cares who bought it.
whether before or after the ship was sold or even celadon prime “died”, celadon #1 got her aiguille-made robot body. i’m just gonna say it was randall that made it, maybe rembrandt. either #1 split or “broke up” with celadon prime before she “died”, possibly resulting in her “death” -or- celadon prime was “dead”, built into the tricend ship, and randall somehow came into contact with her.
either way, #1 got her robot body and worked with randall, (maybe) the last aiguille. OR, he learned directly from celadon prime herself, maybe like, talking with the ship or something. idk. anyway, he learned from/with her more about genetic and mind stuff, developed the mass produced helper units with her acceptance of... i guess sort of “running” them? and through this, #2 and #3 eventually came to be “birthed”. running a shit ton of semi-autonomous meat robots around with your eldritch mind - maybe little parts of your mind would occasionally “break off” into a meat robot once in a while, much more complex than what little goes into directing the usual helper unit. still you, still the same alien, but now with its own body and experiences.
maybe through his work on the helper units, randall figured something out about how to mess with human cloning? if he was the last of the aiguilles, and was constantly surrounded by worms let alone under surveillance, maybe the only way to keep the line going was via cloning. maybe it was a part of a larger plan/agreement between him and celadon prime/#1. he’s not the last of his family, his family works with celadon, that’s the deal.
i think randall learned from designing the helper units' altered cognition. the aiguilles that followed after him - they weren’t and aren’t “au naturale” humans, to varying extents. maybe mind control to some degree, or the inserted ability to control actions... idk. something’s off with that family. and i mean beyond the obvious that comes with any stupidly-rich white family.
i’ve been at this too long, guess i’ll leave off with something that’s probably nothing. the helper units have to have some human dna, right? i know they’re artificial to the point that worms can taste the difference, but you can’t be human-based without human genetics, right? even if it has been altered to the nth degree. whose dna are the helper units - and thus some celadons - based off of?
