[Monthly Challenge] April

Woo! Here we go for the third challenge of the year! Like always, everyone's welcome to join in on the fun - you don't have to be participating in the big year-long challenge to participate.

How it works:

write 1k of fic OR create 1 piece of art

you can also do a rollover challenge using a prompt or fic (if you’re making art) from the previous month

must be based on the prompt given

must be femslash

due by the end of the month (but can be posted at any time)

Submitting it:

add it to the AO3 collection with the tag ‘Femslash Big Bang Monthly Challenge’

send us a link via comment on this post or an email to femslashbigbang (if you’re not posting on ao3)

[quick updates] deadlines, master posts, 2017 + more

hey just a quick reminder that the final monthly challenge of the year is over + the yearly fics are due soon too on the 20th of December! Thanks so much for everyone who’s participated in any small or big way - you’re all Amazing!!

so within the next few days I’ll get up the final monthly challenge master post which will feature the October and November fics. After that, the challenge closes and I’ll get the final master post of all the year’s fics done. 

In regards to next year, things will be a little different - which I’ll explain in a bigger post closer to when those things start happening.

Honestly can you believe this year is almost over? I’m so proud of everyone who’s stuck with the challenge and written/created things for it

So, for the last time this year, a few questions to answer:

REMINDER:If you are signing up as an artist please find and ask your author/artist for permission FIRST. If the mods find out that you have taken someone else’s art or fic without permission we will have to ban you from the monthly challenges. We take this very seriously.With either of the Rollover options: you can either (a) work with the theme from the original or (b) adapt the original to the new month’s theme. It’s up to you how you want to interpret the rollover option!
