February Ficlet Challenge 2021: Apocalypse No

Alright, my lovelies, 2020 has been absolute chaos, but it’s starting to look like we might actually get through it. So for 2021, the theme of the FFC is going to be Apocalypse No. Every prompt will be a word or short phrase that has something to do with an apocalypse of some sort...though of course you’re welcome to interpret them in many other ways.

Obviously it’s not February yet, but part of the fun of the challenge is making a list of pairings ahead of time! So here’s a quick rundown of how this challenge works:

1) Create a list of pairings you are willing to write. (Ideally, pick 28 - one for each day of the month!)

2) Check the February Ficlet Challenge tumblr every morning in February for the day's prompt, posted at 12:01 am West Coast time.

3) Write a ficlet of at least 200 words within 24 hours of checking the prompt, using the prompt and the pairing from your list.

4) Post your ficlet to the AO3 collection!

All fandoms and pairings are welcome, and we’re very flexible about the rules, really; if you can do a fic in a day, that’s great, otherwise, the collection stays open an extra month or more to let everyone finish. In 2020 we had an amazing two hundred and ten works in eighty-seven fandoms by thirteen authors.
