I know it was meant as a silly bit but I’m mildly surprised I haven’t seen more made of the fact that Gricko had a childhood imaginary friend that gave voice to violent intrusive thoughts about his family members (e.g., describing Uncle Glorbo’s eyes as “very gougeable”). like. the songs compliment each other so well & rlly illustrate how elton comes full circle and how much he develops between them,,, Listen. i was in the theatre doing a deep fuckign analysis & idk if my point will come across bc its 1 am & im a raving lunatic but. please tell me u see wht im talking abt its so GOOD
