The West has always been a harsh and dangerous place, but good folks who work hard have always made do. But now, Zarkon's greed threatens them all. He wants all land in the West, and he's resorted to hurting good people to get it.

Altea is the last stronghold. If Zarkon gets it, his empire will be complete.

Six months ago, Alfor received a cryptic message from a man named Shiro, telling him he knew how to defeat Zarkon once and for all. But when the Altea mansion burns down, Alfor trapped inside, it is left to Allura, his daughter, to save her town, avenge her father, and take back the West. But she can't do it alone. She’ll need the help of a band of unlikely heroes, young folks who all have their own reasons for taking down Zarkon.

Keith, a horse breeder who’s been struggling every since his brother Shiro went missing all those months ago. Pidge, a girl too smart for a small town, who just wants her family back. Hunk, a saloon owner who is sick of seeing the people he loves suffer for someone else’s greed. And Lance, a skilled sharpshooter and an unskilled flirt, who can’t stand the sight of his family struggling.

The West is an unforgiving place, but if they don’t fight, who will?

You look pretentious and annoying as hell tweeting that at Jacob, the new music may not be for everyone and if that's the case for you, great, good for you! Plenty of other music out there to enjoy and listen to!! to..

Okay. I was just saying that I’m tired of listening to music with instruments made by technology and not the instruments themselves. I don’t think I was being pretentious at all. I didn’t even think he’d see it. That being said, I’m glad he did.

I get that they/ Jake are experimenting with different sounds. I get that. And keep doing that. I understand that they want to sound different and not be thought of for just one thing. Like actors don’t like to be typecast. But I would like to actually hear a voice that hasn’t been auto tuned and REAL instruments. Otherwise, what are the other members there for? It makes it sound like Dave, Tom and Chris don’t and are not important and that Jake's the band. Jake is not and will never be Hedley. Jake, Tom, Dave AND Chris are Hedley. These days people think it’s just Jake. And why? Hm maybe because 3/4 are being replaced by a computer.

I (and a good chunk of the Hedley fandom, not just “pretentious me”) miss the older stuff. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the new stuff. I'll Be With You is my jam. But I miss when he wrote songs as deep as For The Nights and hearing those drums and bass.

AND ANOTHER THING, isn’t Jake always talking about how he HATES technology and how we’re all getting so lost in it? And yet, he’s using iPads and way too much technology when coming up with beats for the new songs.A bit hypocritical?

Hedley will always be my life. And I will continue to support them because they’ve helped me through a lot, but how is it so bad that I finally woke up and realized that I miss instruments?

But hey, that’s just one pretentious girl’s opinion.
