Just as beautiful as the Clive and Joshua artwork 🔥
GUYS THERES A TON OF NEW FFXIII CARDS FOR THE FFTCG!!! WE GOT SAZH, FANG, SNOW, AND SERAH!!! THEY ALL LOOK SO GOOD!!
AND THE FANG CARD IS THE SAME ARTIST OF THE PREVIOUS VANILLE CARD I SHARED, THE ARTIST DREW FANILLE CARDS AND I LOVE IT😭😭😭💕💕💕
In light of the amazing MtG x FF collab reveals, I thought I'd also share that the official FF TCG had Sephiroth and Angeal cards drawn by Gen Kobayashi for the Hidden Hope booster pack a while back. They, along with Cissnei, were chosen to represent FFVII: Crisis Core: Reunion. We love a little Sephgeal moment! (Especially since Square Enix won't give us any Angeal merch.)
Kings of Lucis. Come to me!
Two new Final Fantasy III related cards for FFTCG were revealed recently, seemingly both for Gunslinger in the Abyss.
First, revealed back in August is Refia as seen World of Final Fantasy by Yasuhisa Izumisawa as part of a set of WoFF cards. Refia was one of the Champions in that game (although, much like the others, she's technically based on the original Refia rather than actually being Refia (it's not complicated, but still). As WoFF has voice acting, Refia is the only one of the DS party to have been voiced (Yoko Hikasa in JP, Mimi Torres in EN).
The second, revealed at a NA competition just yesterday as of this writing, is Luneth by Sara Shimokobe, making this the second card Luneth has received and (to my knowledge) the first FF3 character to get a second illustrated card. This card is seemingly based on the section of the opening sequence where the party are riding across the land on Chocobos. If so, then we may see cards based on the other three (or characters - FF2 has been giving characters second cards in a different artstyle for example) in later sets.
