Remember those vital care appointments I was talking about? My doctor just called and canceled my heart appointment for tomorrow and now I get to have my vital care appointment for my heart condition over Google Duo.

They’re relying on me to take my own blood pressure, my own oxygen levels, and my own heart rate and to convey the information over webcam because it’s not safe for me to go to the clinic. For my heart condition.

Please, for the love of God, please follow self-isolation guidelines and stay indoors and help flatten the curve. Acute and chronic conditions don’t vanish because there’s a pandemic, but our access to adequate healthcare for those conditions is rapidly dwindling.
