If you’re suffering with the Sanctuary Keeper fight on Mount Gagazet in Final Fantasy X:
1. Cast Bio
2. Cast Reflect on the Sanctuary Keeper (AFTER BIO ONLY)
3. Have Auron use Mental Break to cut down its magic defense.
4. The Keeper will cast Reflect onto one of your party members so that on its next turn, it can cast Esuna onto them (and reflect it back onto itself, healing the poison). Stop this by trading that character out OR using Dispel on them.
5. If the Keeper manages to cure its poison, use Dispel to get rid of the Reflect spell and start from the top of this list.
6. Repeat as needed, keeping the party members healed and alive.
7. Don’t forget to cast Cheer a bunch! It stacks onto characters 5 times!
I gave up using Aeons and Overdrives, and this is how I just managed to beat it. The only attacks I used on it were some bombs from Rikku, nothing else.
