Here’s a question:
If Drautos liked Noctis does that mean if Regis died early he wouldn’t have helped with the attack on Insomnia?
An Idea
So now that we have a "Friendly Match" with Ignis, can we have one where you play as Noct with Prompto where he literally beats the living daylights out of you because Wiz promised the winner a baby chocobo and Prompto don't give a shit if you the King of the fucking country, he will trigger happy your ass point blank before the game even starts if it means he gets a chocobo chick.
I had a bunch of stories planned out that would go into the royal families of Niflheim and Lucis (not a whole lot but enough so that we get to know a bit about the women who got fridged for the sake plot), but words are hard lol
Here are pictures instead of what it would have been:
the astrals were alright (bahamut was cooler than the others imo), but iy would have been cool if some of the ffxiii lore had been tied into ffxv
lindzei, pulse, and etro
Au where Lucis Caelums Kings are part crystal
When they die their souls are going to do into the ring. But, you can't remain completely sane if you're human and are alive for - well, a long time. If it counts as 'alive', anyway.
So, the Astrals - mostly Bahamut because he's the guardian of the Crystal - fix that problem. You can't go insane like that if you're not human in the first place.
Now, you won't notice anything different about them as children. Noctis and Regis and everyone else are perfectly normal human children, from the outside. It's when they first start using magic when things change. (Not that people would notice. They're called God-Kings for a reason. Just because the public can't remember why they're called that for reasons other than Magic doesn't make it any less true.)
These things happen:
Behind closed doors they are taught what makes them not human. Even the shields only know some of it. Noctis is less human than most. He's the crystal's chosen, after all. And the Old Kings love him.
You only survive if a Crystal King is on a rampage when they want you to. No one knows what Regis looks like on his true from other than Clarus, Cor and Noctis for a reason (they're all dead.) You don't want to truly piss them off.
However great and powerful and scary they are? They're worse when they've got the Ring of the Lucii on them.
Other people learn:
You do not threaten Noctis near Regis.
Aldercapt has made the worst mistake of his life.
You do not threaten Regis near Noctis
The magic the Kingsglaives have is barely a spark of their power.
They are called God-Kings for a reason, and it is a Good One.
Had a new fic idea last night...
Noct Vs Meteor.
Y/N?
(no, I’ll never stop stealing from FFVII to give to XV)
My Riku is very unhappy right now. And all I can think of it is if Noctis were turned into a cat and Ignis had to take him to the vet. Also gives me ideas for Bringing Home the Strays
