How would the chocobros react to their S/O having to take care of their wounds after battle?

I wasn’t too sure about the question because I don’t know if you’re asking the reaction of the chocobros tending to their s/o’s wounds or the other way around. I’ll just include both, just to be on the safe side!

Noctis

When it comes to tending his s/o’s wounds, I’m pretty sure he’s going to want to know what happened and how did they get the wounds in the first place. He’s super protective when it comes to his s/o, so if it’s caused by someone, you best believe he’ll beat the crap out of them. He’s just going to try to clean up their wound and probably have Ignis help since he’s most likely, out of all the chocobros, know how to take care of wounds and give stitches if it is ever needed. He would also start blaming himself for letting it happen in the first place because he should’ve been there for his s/o.

If he’s the one with the wounds, his s/o is going to try to help tend to his wounds and he’s just trying to brush it off like it’s nothing. He doesn’t want to worry his s/o, so he’s going to try to hide it.

Prompto

It is most likely that he’s going to panic and keep pestering his s/o, wanting to know what happened. If anyone lays a hand on his s/o, he’s going to find them and try to make them pay for what they did to his s/o by giving them the same wound among others. Prompto would’ve wanted to stick close to his s/o if they’re planning to come with him to battle. I could also tell he’s willing to take the hit for his s/o if there’s no way to dodge on time (i.e. that’s probably why he does so much in battle ffs). So if he sees a slightest paper-cut, he’s going to want to take care of his s/o to the extreme that it would probably annoy them at first, but would appreciate all of what he’s doing.

Prompto would be terrible at hiding his wounds, so his s/o would be able to tell right away that he’s hurt. Like Noctis, he’s going to try to brush it off, but he wouldn’t protest to his s/o wanting to tend to his wounds. He’ll just smile the entire time, watching them clean his wounds, and trying to be a bit helpful at least.

Gladio

Two words for the creature or person responsible for causing the wound: they’re dead. The moment Gladio lay eyes on them, they’d be petrified from such stare that they’ll probably just do it themselves. Gladio wouldn’t let them have the satisfaction, though. He’d call Ignis up to help take care of his s/o’s wounds while he goes off to find them. After the battle, Gladio would come back to his s/o as Ignis finishes up and leaves those two alone. Gladio starts saying he should’ve stuck to his s/o like glue. Just by looking away for a second when someone else gets hurt, most likely Noctis, his s/o gets hurt as well. He starts saying he should’ve done better, but he took care of the person or creature responsible. Then he tries to lighten up the conversation by saying now they both have battle scars.

He bears so many scars so one more wouldn’t bother him one bit. Gladio wouldn’t try to hide it because he knows it’s just going to worry his s/o further if he does. He just bluntly tells them what happened and he lets his s/o tends to his wounds. Otherwise, he’d just do it himself and let it heal, adding one more scar to his growing collection. Gladio knows it’s going to be a part of his job and he makes sure his s/o knows what to expect. Bond of trust and whatnot.

Ignis

Ignis would be quiet worried about his s/o, he wouldn’t even bother trying to hurt the person who hurt his s/o. Of course he’ll try to get rid of them and see if he could put them down, but other than that, he’s more worried about his s/o’s well-being. He would make sure that he would be able to get them away to a safe place if they’re too wounded to continue. I get the feeling he’d be distracted for the rest of the battle knowing that his s/o is hurt in the process, but he’d be more determined to get the battle over with quickly. It’s a whole different side of him, in my opinion.

Ignis would most likely try not to talk about what happened if it happens to him, but rather try to tend to his own wounds before his s/o notices. He’ll try to tell them not to worry, it’s just a scratch, and at least he made it out alive. He’d rather get a scar than to not see you again. He couldn’t bear the thought of leaving his s/o.

Noctis

Well, I can see him grinning big time when he sees his s/o walking down the aisle. He’d try to keep his composure and hold back tears, but he’s so happy that he finally gets to marry his s/o. They’re gorgeous in the outfit they picked out for the wedding. All of the focus is on you, he doesn’t see anyone else.

I really don’t think he’d be able to choose, given that he’s close with all of them, but I really think that if he HAS to choose, it would be Prompto. He loves Prompto and wouldn’t otherwise marry his s/o if they’re not on Prompto’s good side, which is easy to be on because Prompto likes to get along with almost everyone.

He’d be grinning the whole time, prepared his vows for you, making sure they’re well rehearsed. He has been practicing his vows and making sure they’re perfect. This is probably one of the few times his s/o would see him completely let his guard down in front of others.

Prompto

He would most likely cry like a baby; tears of joy, of course! Seeing his s/o walking down that aisle, he’d just burst into tears of happiness and everyone would just turn around in concern and he’d just wave them away, trying to signal them that he’s okay. Gladio would just chuckle and Noctis just gives him a hankerchief, adding in the comment “keep it” because you know… snot…

He’d absolutely stammer on his vows until Ignis just says out loud, “say what’s on your heart.” Prompto just takes a deep breath and just starts saying his feelings from his heart about his s/o. He’s so glad he ended up with them, the times he spent together, and with the help of the chocobros, a slide of all the pictures of the two of them together pops up, causing his s/o to also burst into tears of joy.

They’re both huge cry babies and they start laughing because they’re crying together and everyone else starts laughing because the two newly weds are laughing. It’s so sweet, the wedding. If Prompto has to choose one of the chocobros, it would probably have to be all of them because he can’t just choose one hahaha. Or he’d suggest not to have one best man, which his s/o eventually agrees. They don’t have to follow tradition. Although, I can see him being more close to Noctis as well as Gladio, but yeah. I don’t think he’d want to follow “traditional” wedding.

Gladio

Man, he’d act so tough and what-not before the wedding, but once he finally sees his gorgeous s/o walking down the aisle to marry him, he starts crying, but silently. He’d quickly try to wipe them away before anyone sees him crying, he gotta have his pride, ya know! His s/o smiles when they see him crying tears of joy.

He’s not much for words, so he doesn’t like long speeches, but he’s blunt so he’d just explain how he feels when he met his s/o and how far they’ve come, and where they are now. Next he’d talk about what he hopes to achieve in the future and swears to protect his s/o. Short, but sweet. As long as his s/o knows exactly how he feels and spends his waking moments with them.

I can see him choosing Ignis for being his best man, he’s more helpful towards the wedding and just helps how to make the wedding planning easier on both him and his s/o. Gladio is more of the type of guy that chooses things/ways that are more practical. He loves all his chocobros to death, but Ignis would be a way to go when it comes to PLANNING things. Prompto would just suggest crazy shit and Noctis is a lazy shit. Lol

Ignis

He would be the most calm one out of all the chocobros, but he’s so sweet to his s/o and just makes sure to help them out when it comes to planning the wedding. He’s not much of a big wedding type, but if his s/o likes big weddings, it won’t matter because he just wants to marry his s/o. Once he sees his s/o walking down the aisle, he just couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. People keep commenting how his eyes are practically glued to his s/o and added in that it’s the way it should be. Ignis obviously adores his s/o.

He would probably pick Gladio or Prompto. One of the two because they’re both slightly helpful with helping out, but he’s just most likely have them all together. He’ll ask each chocobro what’s helpful towards the wedding to make it more fun for the party. Prompto chips in a lot of ideas for parties and making it fun. Gladio as well and Noctis just likes keeping it short and sweet. Ignis puts all that together and makes it perfect.

His vows are semi-long, but people really don’t mind because his words are like poetry to their ears. He likes to make sure his s/o knows exactly how he feels through actions and words.

Playing w/ the boys hair

I’m assuming you wanted a headcanon for this? Otay!

Noctis

I think he wouldn’t care if you start playing with his hair, but it really depends on his mood. I like to think he, along with Prompto, would wake up with the biggest bed-hair. If you decide to play with his hair, he’s probably going to be a tiny bit frustrated since it would probably take a while to get his hair what he wanted in the first place. His hair doesn’t cooperate, so he wouldn’t want anyone to mess with that. He would take off whatever you tried to do to his hair like braiding it and such. Noctis wouldn’t want to show off his braided hair to the boys. But if he’s having a hard time falling asleep for example, I think he would love it if you play or stroke his hair until he falls asleep.

Prompto

Sunshine would absolutely love it if you play with his hair! He’d insist on putting on a flower crown on him if you know how to make one. Prompto would try to learn how to make a flower crown with you and try to learn how to braid your hair or something. I also get the feeling he would love it if his hair gets pulled on if the two of you get it on -wink wink-. He’d never take off whatever you did to his hair. The only no-no for him is dying his hair. I think he wouldn’t want to damage his hair chemically. Other than that, he would gladly do stuff like hair mask and such.

Gladio

I don’t think he would admit that he actually likes his hair being played with because he likes the feeling of your fingers going through his hair. I like to think that’s probably why he kept it long. Like Prompto, he likes getting his hair pulled and pulling on your hair if they’re long enough to grab onto. Although, he would just let you stroke his hair or help put it in a pony tail, but he wouldn’t let you braid his hair or anything like that. I can see the only exception would if he has a daughter and he’ll let her do whatever she wants with his hair as long as it doesn’t involve scissors near his hair. You know how kids are….

Ignis

I think he wouldn’t let anyone go near his hair at all. He likes styling his hair and wouldn’t let anyone go near his hair at all. He doesn’t want his hair to get messed up. If he’s sleeping or laying down with you, he wouldn’t mind having your fingers go through his hair. But other than that, it would be a huge no for him. Not that he’s vain about his hair, but like he went through a lot of effort making it look like the style he wanted.

What do you think would be the Chocobros' ideal wedding day and honeymoon locations with their wife S/O?

I’ve done the honeymoon series for the boys, so you can read up on that one if you would like to! Although, let me summarize it.

Noctis

I honestly think he would love being in Altissia for the honeymoon. It seems like an expensive place to honeymoon at, but him being a prince, I’m pretty sure he could afford it. In my honeymoon series, I had him spend the honeymoon in Altissia and travel around there for a bit.

I think his ideal wedding day would be sometime in the fall - not too hot and not too cold. I feel like he would enjoy the weather and enjoy the leaves changing color and such. Also he definitely wouldn’t mind if they get married on the day they met. He’s a romantic guy, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he would suggest that date. It would’ve been a huge bonus if it took place in the fall season.

Prompto

Prompto would definitely enjoy traveling around, no location in mind, and just try to stay like one or two days in certain location and then move to another. He’s a little too energetic to stay in one place. While Altissia is a romantic city and there are LOTS to do there, I doubt he’d be able to afford giving that to his wife. So he wanted to be able to make up for it by trying to show his newly wed the most beautiful scenery he found throughout his travels.

His ideal wedding day would have to be in the Spring where everything is barely blooming and just have a beautiful outside wedding because of that. He doesn’t care when in the spring season he wanted to have the wedding, but I think the day he realizes he falls in love with his wife (girlfriend at the time) would be that date he wanted to wed.

Ignis

I think Ignis would like to take his wife to Galdin Quay, which is what I had him do in my honeymoon series. Fancy and he would’ve been able to get a decent deal there since he probably knows the people there. I wouldn’t be surprised and I could see him wanting to take good care of his wife. Good view of the beach and such.

For that type of honeymoon, it would be most ideal to try to have the wedding in the summer. It would make sense because otherwise it wouldn’t be a good idea to take her to Galdin Quay.

Gladio

This bad boy would take his wife to honeymoon by hiking and stuff. Like Prompto, he doesn’t like staying in one place, so he’d want to take her to places such as a hidden swimming hole that barely anyone knows about. Tourist towns and maybe finally in the end, take her to one of his favorite place. He likes going camping and just having fun for the honeymoon. He’s not one of those guys that like to spend a lot of money on the honeymoon as well as the wedding.

For an ideal wedding date, I think he wouldn’t care, but not the winter. He wouldn’t want his s/o to get cold while traveling. He’s considerate of that, so he doesn’t want to have the wedding in the winter unless his s/o requested to do that. I think he would’ve liked to pick the date the two of them got engaged. If it is at all possible. Other than that, it is up to his s/o to choose the date.

Noctis

I really don’t think he’s one for clubs, but I can see him willing to go if crush keep trying to convince him. He’d say he’ll go, but don’t expect him to dance or anything. He just wants one drink and listen to music. He doesn’t care where as long as he’s with them.

I can definitely see that his crush convince him to have more than one drink. Trick him into it or something. Like a game. “Oooh, scardy cat.” Prompto would somehow find out that those two are at the club and they’d hear Prompto yelling for them. Like how the heck did he find them?! “He has his sources, I guess,” Noctis would reply.

His s/o or crush…. (let’s just say partner for now hahaha) finally convinces him to dance with them. After a few drinks or shots, he’d probably be more willing to dance and let loose with them. It would take a bit for him to admit that he actually had fun. They go home when Noctis’ guards pick them up in a limo or something. Noctis would be the one to make sure his partner gets to bed fine, give them meds to take in the morning, and plenty of water. He probably face-plants in the middle of the hallway and find himself back into bed in his room.

Prompto

This chocobro is up for anything especially clubs! He’s going to have so much fun even without drinks. He’s probably going to try to be responsible and not drink unless they have a designated driver. He’d invite his chocobros, not knowing if his s/o or crush wanted to go with just the two of them. Everyone shows up regardless of club type and Prompto is just having one hell of a time.

He’d be the one to drag his partner to dance with him, taking so many pictures, and just bouncing up and down trying to fit with the song tempo. Honestly, though, he’d probably fall over a few times from having a few drinks. Poor guy is very light when it comes to alcohol.

He’d probably try to kiss his partner a few times; if it’s a crush, he’d immediately try to pretend he’s drunk the next day, he didn’t mean anything by it and apologizes for hitting on them. If it’s his s/o, I could definitely see his s/o making fun of him for that, but kisses him when he’s sober. They much rather have those moments of kisses when they can remember those moments.

Gladio

I think he’d be down for like a bar-type club? Just relax, enjoy the music, and chat with his partner over a few drinks. Gladio wouldn’t mind karaoke if there’s enough drinks in him. He’s gotta find a way to let loose before attempting something like that. He’d be terrible, but as long as it’s a duet with his partner, he’d be down.

He doesn’t make it a habit to go to clubs so when his partner asks him to go out to such places like that, he would probably suggest chill/relax vibes type of club. Although, it would take such a long time for him to get buzzed because he’s such a big guy and he’d probably just burn it off before it even hits him.

Gladio still wouldn’t trust himself to drive, so he’d go for a stroll with his partner and if they’re too drunk, he’d just carry them or flag down a taxi. He’d make sure they get home okay, make sure they’ve vomited out the alcohol, and stay with them the entire time. He likes protecting the people he cares about, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he does this.

Ignis

I’d think it would be pretty hard to convince him to go out to clubs, but he would settle for clubs that have a theme of jazz or some type of club that sets a romantic mood. If they have great food, that would be a bonus. He’d suggest wine or champagne to share with his partner and just ask them for a slow-dance or something.

He’d had a few tricks up his sleeve! He would probably know complicated dance moves that he would wanna try with his partner. They’d probably be nervous about it at first especially if they never done it before and he just goes: “Trust me. I got this.”

Ignis would pull it off easily and just tries to be romantic the entire time. I love Ignis to death. The rare occasion he DOES agree to a club, it would be exactly, more or less, like this. He’d make sure his partner wouldn’t have too much to drink and keep alcohol in moderation.

Nyx

I can see him being at a club to let off some steam or, like Gladio, be at a chill type of bar. There was this scene where he was hanging with his crew and so I think it would be similar. He would know the people at the bar and just suggest to go there if his crush/partner feels like going out to some type of club.

He’s not much of a dancer, but he’d be surprisingly good at it. As a fighter, he moves so much and has so much agility considering how good he’s at, dodging enemy attacks with such grace. I like to think that if such skills or movement were to apply at dancing, he’d be impressed with himself.

He drinks, but in moderation and keeps himself in check. As part of Kingsglaive, he can’t really afford to be off his game. So! He’ll make sure his partner gets home fine, stops them from drinking if they can’t handle themselves, and just sleeps on the couch or floor if it’s a crush.

The Chocobros going to the movies with their S/O headcanons, please?

Sure! I love movies!

Noctis

He probably likes action movies or adventure-type movies that involves a good plot. I really don’t see him being a chick-flick type of guy even if his s/o insist on wanting to watch just one. He’s a big nope on that. Horror movie is good, some of them probably would appear stupid to him.

If the movie is boring, I can see him falling asleep and his s/o just smacking his head to get him awake. Then he’ll just distract them by kissing them on the lips and it turns into a make-out session that the two of you never actually watched the movie. It would get the two of them in trouble in the movie theater, but Noctis just doesn’t give a damn.

He seems to be the type of guy that likes movie snacks. Most likely pretzel or a huge bag of popcorn to share with his s/o. He holds hands the entire time and just likes spending time with his s/o that way.

Prompto

Horror movies is a big nope for him even if it doesn’t seem like such a scary movie, he still refuses to see any scary movies. Although, he’s more than willing to watch anything. Disney movies, cartoons, click-flicks, and anything else. As long as he gets to spend time with his s/o. He loves his comedy movies a lot, though!

Yes on snacks! He’s the one that insists even if his s/o doesn’t want any, he still gets a big bag of popcorn and a huge drink for the two of them to share in case they change their mind.

Huge cuddler at the movies, he likes the seats that allows him to put the arm rest up so he could hold his s/o and just be all lovey with them. He’ll save those movie tickets and take pictures; he likes documenting dates he goes on with his s/o. Huge bonus if his s/o likes to scrapbook or something. Haha.

Ignis

I like to think that he’s the type of guy that rarely goes on movie dates, but if he ever agrees to having a movie date, it would have to be the type of movie that makes you think. He likes a little bit of everything, just as long as it’s interesting and not boring.

He doesn’t seem to be the type of guy that likes to snack on movie popcorn, but he doesn’t mind sharing them with his s/o. It’s most likely he would prefer to have a meal before or after the movie; a real meal.

It’s more like he wants to make sure his s/o is enjoying themselves. If he knows his s/o loves movies, he’d tolerate going to the movies with them more often and he just enjoys their company.

Gladio

This big guy loves horror movies and adventure movies. He doesn’t seem to be too big on disney movies or pixar. He doesn’t mind them, but it’s not going to hold his interest. I can definitely see him liking Moana and having Maui be one of his favorite. But yeah, HORROR MOVIES! He likes them mostly because he wants his s/o to cuddle with him and squeeze into him when they’re scared of certain scenes.

If his s/o hates horror movies, he’s willing to compromise. I also can see him wanting a huge snack and then a huge meal after or a meal before the movie. He’s a big guy, so he can definitely put it away!

I can see him wanting to go for a stroll after the movie, stretch his legs out and enjoy the breeze with his s/o, talking about the movie and criticize the movie. Talk about what they like and don’t like about the movie. Oh! I can definitely see him be a John Wick fan. Those types of movies! IMHO, anyways.

I’m back!

Hey guys! I’m back! I wanted to begin by apologizing a thousand times over and over for being absent for such a long time. So many things have happened and I had to take time to myself to heal myself mentally and emotionally. So much has happened, but now I’m back.

I’m going to take the time to catch up on all the asks and H/C I had received so far. Again, thank you so much for being great followers. You guys don’t deserve to have to wait for a while for such things. I promise to try my best to dedicate myself to this blog. Again, thank you VERY much!
