neil comes to tp's place, tp tells neil to move to the bedroom while is finishing everything up, he'll be there in a minute. when he enters the bedroom, though, he is greeted with the sight of neil fast asleep on his bed, looking really tired, really soft and really innocent, and tp's heart just melts at the sight, because tbh this is what he always wanted. to have neil like that, soft and safe in his personal space. he covers neil with the comforter, sits down in bed next to his sleeping 'friend' with his back against headboard and just watches neil sleep, pushes some hair out of his face (and ofc neil leans into his touch subconsciously, which makes tp's heart soar) and he whispers "god, i love you" into the quiet room, as he's mentally talking himself out of kissing neil's forehead.
I’m just sitting here all *chinhands* and 😍. Like, this is all gorgeous just by itself, but also can you imagine the “accidental date” shenanigans? One of them invites the other around for a shag, but oh no, oops, I “accidentally” made too much dinner, shame for it to go to waste, did you eat already?
