It took me FIVE FUCKING DAYS to remember the word CLINICAL. I'm so sick of this. All fics cancelled. Everybody go home.

My heart is broken-- I just checked in on my bookmarked fics to revisit some favorite SG-1 fics, and all but three have disappeared. I searched for the only one whose title I remembered, and it's nowhere on A03. Idk what happened. I'm devastated.

Can't fucking post the 1st Chapter cause I'm not from the USA so I don't know the places there save for the ones shown in shows or movies and I'm a sucker for accuracy so I'm trying to figure out where point A is cause Dean had to come from some fucking where

writing Sam pov is so fucking hard because like

dean pov is literally just a constant litany of Samsamsamsamsammy

but Sam has like. Philosophical conversations in his head. Discussions of ethics. Random knowledge of the case at hand. The crushing weight of the knowledge that he has been tainted since birth and will never be truly good no matter how hard he tries.

and of course Deandeandeandeandean.

Why does he have to have so many thoughts about everything??

Another fanfic gripe.

I cannot tell you how often cellphones appear in SpyxFamily fics. And it’s just… the series could not be more blatantly mid-century modern.

Have you seen the cars? The radios? The furniture and clothes? They are NOT at cell phone level of tech.

Every phone is a wired landline. And while there’s an occasional anachronism, cellphones aren’t one of them. (However spy radios are still allowed.)

Do you ever write a sentence that makes absolute perfect sense in your head, you think is really beautiful, but then when you come back to edit it, you aren't sure if the meaning is clear.

The kiss landed softly at first. Barely even pressure. Just the warm, dry brush of lips on lips, the careful testing of boundaries that had already been erased.

It's the morning after, so those boundaries have technically been erased as they've already gone past them, but... does it make sense to say they're testing them carefully in that case? It really did in my head at first and now I've been staring at it for ten minutes and can't make my mind up. It's obviously still all so new, they're stil nervous and tentative...am I massively overthinking this?
