❛ Draco Malfoy was half of Benedicta Burke’s soul; just as the poets say. The two grew up with practically identical lives. They were both pure-bloods from esteemed families raised under twisted ideals. Both sorted into Slytherin. Draco and Benedicta even shared the same birthdate. With all of these little details in mind, it was no surprise to anyone when the two became best mates. The latter term being too plain of a description of their relationship. The bond they shared was inexplicable, even to them. So when Draco began to act erratically during their sixth year at Hogwarts, Benedicta was quick to catch on. She would stop at nothing to protect him and prevent him from making a grave mistake. However, the Malfoy heir could not allow this.
