chickpeas I love you. my favourite legume. make them into curry or soup or falafel. use aquafaba for fake meringues. stick them in pasta or instant noodles or sandwiches. boil 'em mash 'em stick 'em in a stew. I cannot express my love enough

gosh my university is so old fashioned and obstructive. anywhere else this would be fine. nearly anywhere else. in the whole country

but nooooo you're not allowed to take time off, for a good reason, unless it's at the time they say so. because you dont get to decide, they decide for you. which means I might not get to do the scheme I want to do unless I can convince them to just let me take a year out in the regular way instead of like halfway through a year. which *could* be fine but i have to play it careful and I hate the uncertainty so much

just. sometimes I wish i studied somewhere normal.
