Huevember Day 5: Lilies
BOSS! I ran the numbers and LOOK the NUMBERS!!!
AaaaaaaAAAAAAAA THE NUMBERSSS
Haha, well that makes a lot of sense, I did basically hit my stride as "Tumblr ambassador" in 2022/2023. XD
Wait, does "notes" mean interaction that I got on my blog from other people? Or is this a peek into my own personal Tumblr activity? How the hell is my ratio of original post / reblogs count so close to each other??? Do you think asks count as original posts?
Huevember is back baby!
Starting off with yellow this year and a portrait of my girl Frieren!
I'm planning to draw characters from all my favorite fandoms from this year, paired with matching flowers to fit the color!

Please have this not been I mistake, I have a huge fear of Tublr but I made an account because I saw your shorts
Aww, you didn't have to do that if you have a fear of Tumblr! I would have been happy if you just left a comment on my videos! Then again... well, I guess it'd be way less likely for me to respond to comments these days. :P But hey, welcome to Tumblr!
@ficklesprite Haha, yeah, Tumblr stands out as the rare social media app / site where you're not necessarily trying to put yourself in the spotlight. Most of us aren't trying to collect followers or become influencers. I mean, if you're an artist, maybe you are, but Tumblr isn't really made for that. It's made for collaborative stories and jokes and bits, for people to agree and/or disagree with each other in threads.
Think about it: you're just having fun and being yourself and making jokes with your friends, and then you get a tidal wave of notifications and feel like you're being ambushed by paparazzi, and you're like "why is this happening?!" And it doesn't even have to be because of something you posted recently, it could be a post from last week, or last month, or last year, or several years ago, because people are still sharing it and passing it around for some reason!
To give another analogy, it's probably as shocking to get attention on Tumblr as when you think you're shouting into an empty echoey cave, and you're used to hearing nothing back, and then you suddenly start hearing lots of new voices calling back to you. Who wouldn't be a little alarmed at that?
