Another KKJ/MTG shipping musing:

It must be said that my problem is not that Kim Jae Uck was sizzlingly, creepily hot and sexy as Mo Tae Gu. Let’s face it, scorchingly sexy villains (or killers) are all too common in fiction, and which one you fixate on is just a matter of preferences. Just so happened KJU as MTG is that distinctly rare occurrence for me.

My problem with MTG is that I ship him with a favourite female character, and I have been “forced” to write him to feed my own brainrot.

I never had much problem reading other writers’ brilliant heroine/villain fics and have enjoyed many of them, but when it came time that I had to scribble my own bland vanilla takes, all too often, I can’t seem to get pass how much I find MTG highly problematic/infuriating even as I brainrot over him. He is a character I have a lot of issues with. Mostly because I have to “live” with him in my headspace. Argh.

I feel like scrubbing my own brain after every “encounter” with him in my brainrot and that is definitely an issue I only have with MTG. He sucks and is truly a (fictional) menace. Addiction to a problematic character like him is bad for boring old me 😭😤
