I am...alive...

Man, I haven't been on Tumblr in a hot minute. Life has been busy, etc. etc.

While I haven't touched Tumblr in ages, I have actually touched my AO3 a few times. And as for my main fandom, Supernatural, I watched every single episode the day it aired through the end. I'm still very much invested.

I'm not quite finished with the last fic I left hanging before taking an unexpected break, but I do know where it's going, so I will be finishing it, I promise! If you're an All It Needed Was A Kickstart fan who has been waiting on me to show signs of life - I swear, the end is coming, it's not abandoned.

I've also dabbled in a bunch of post-finale (or at least post-Despair), some of which are still in progress and some of which are complete. I'm especially proud of the Posthumous Vows verse, and I think it might be the best fic I've written, actually.

Anyway, all that being said, having not been on Tumblr in forever, I have no idea what the activity is like these days, and I could probably stand to follow some new folks who are still active in this fandom. If you interact with this post, I will definitely come check you out!

I have two. The first is The Lucifer Problem and its resulting ‘verse. It was originally a prompt, and it’s easily one of the fics of which I am the most proud. People also have engaged with me far more frequently as a result of reading TLP than any of my other fics.

The second is You Fall In Flame. I am so proud of YFIF. I think it’s one of the strongest stories I’ve written, and I had some fantastic support from friends in the community while I was writing it during the hiatus between seasons 8 and 9. It’s also the ‘verse I most want to cotinue in.

I just posted a new chapter of one of my fics, and the first comment was someone complaining about how long it took me to get it up.

I’m sorry, I worked full time and have another part time job on top of that. That’s not taking into account the other outside commitments I have every week. I write fanfic to de-stress and explore storylines I would want to read.

Like, I’m grateful to have readers, but if you’re going to bitch about me not adhering to your personal timing preferences, what incentive do I even have to post what I write?

After the events of Dark Side of the Moon, Sam and Dean are further apart than ever. Castiel and Dean have both lost their faith, and Sam is losing his hope. God may just be watching, but that doesn't mean He doesn't have a plan. He's not going to let Lucifer and Michael win, so He sets something in motion to ensure Sam, Dean, and Castiel all stay in the fight.
