My Dearest Beloved,
I love you. Some might say those words are simple, but I'd have to disagree. They're powerful words. Words that hold so much weight, especially when said to the right person.
You changed the meaning of those words to me. They used to be a phrase I'd hear couples say to each other on the street, or a parent picking their child up from school. It was white noise to me. Sure, a lovely tune from nature, but it never felt personal.
Until you said it to me. Suddenly it wasn't just the wind, it was like a flock of birds singing with a waterfall in the background. It didn't matter how many times you said it, my heart would flutter every time I heard it. You made those words special to me, and I wouldn't want to hear it from anyone else.
