Hello from Southwest Queensland, Australia!!
I saw this really cool beetle when I was cleaning the other day, could you tell me what this is?
Hello! It's a fiddler beetle :)

Y'all check out this dead bug my dad found in the garden and gave me!!
Looked it up and it's called a Fiddler Beetle 'cause the markings resemble a violin so that's cool
I rarely used green because I can't make it look good other than desaturated light green, seafoam green or lime
I was fuckin around with the symmetry tool a couple weeks back, and made sum beetles.
And yes they are referenced from real insects. Top is a Red Turnip Beetle (Entomoscelis americana), and bottom is a Fiddler Beetle (Eupoecila australasiae).

Veeeeeeeery pretty indeed! It is, of course, a fiddler beetle! Their larvae eat rotten wood. Yum.
