Bringing the heat back into his fingers, Makoto clutched a cup of hot cocoa close to his chest as he searched for a place to sit in a local coffee shop. The snow was really kicking up, and he’d much rather dodge snowflakes where it’s warm than risk turning into a six-foot icicle.

Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one with that idea; the place was packed! Spying what was quite possibly the only empty seat, Makoto headed straight over. Who knows, maybe he’d see someone he knew—it was hard to tell with everyone bundled up.
