So this is a master to servant type of linking thing.

Since Cuphead picked Bendy up to be a right hand in the au he needed to connect and got a little more than he was expecting.

Master - Servent links don't work immediately either so it startled them both when Cuphead just attached like there was nothing to weave through.

Bendy has actually never had any vampire connect to him mentally, since they couldn't get past his mental barriers, so he especially wasn't prepared XD.

Dr. Khal's Lost - Field King

The faint dust of morning light trickled in through the curtains as Cuphead watched the sun rise over the trees in the distance and coat his fields in it’s golden ray’s.

The blood blossoms coaxed open their slumbering buds and slowly began to unfurl their petals to soak in the life around them.

Cuphead stepped out from his balcony and peered down at the village just down the hill.

The first flickers of human life began to show as the farmers and mothers got up to tend to the early chores of there day.

The street lamps were ushered to sleep and Cuphead faintly could hear the large doors to his study open.

“Cuphead!” Mugman called urgently. His feet never stopping until they were inches away from the balcony door steps.

“We have a problem!” Mugman insisted without pause. The main doors of the mansion flung open as a giant wolf paced the porch steps restlessly.

“It’s Dr. Khal!” Mugs explained and Cuphead turned to see Mugman’s hands coated in odd looking blood.

/No.. it can’t be…/

Cuphead frowned and stepped towards Mugman to investigate.

Mugman allowed him to see his hands and Cuphead turned to peer down at the wolf waiting for them.

Cuphead grit his teeth as he looked towards his twin with concern.

“Take me to him!” Cuphead ordered and Mugman nodded hopping the balcony with Cuphead in tow. They quickly settled on Boris and were off in an instant.

Rushing towards a gruesome scene that Cuphead couldn’t burn from his memories.

Humans and Vampires.

Gutted like fish and strung up around the place like scarecrows.

All dead.

“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!”

Cuphead turned just in time to watch a blur rush the three of them.

Cuphead swung his cloak up and fell back. His eyes widened as he sat up to watch the foaming Doctors mouth bite through the fabric trying to tear his teeth into Cuphead’s throat.

“Dr. Khal!” Mugman shouted as Boris and him skidded to a halt.

Cuphead grasped Khal by the throat and lifted him above him to keep the ravenous man from tearing into him.

Khal’s eyes were empty. No irises or pupil’s to be found. Only pure white sclera.

Cuphead felt his heart twist seeing the black blood dripping from Khal’s mouth.

His worst fears sadly had all became realized.

“Mugman.” Cuphead spoke firmly even though his heart was stuttering and his brain scrambled for a semblance of calm.

Mugman stared in concern.

“Burn the bodies. Get me that head clasp… Dr. Khal has fallen to Rogues.” Cuphead declared.

Mugman covered his mouth, Hanging his head in mourning.

“Y-Yes, Sir!” He choked out before turning to the medical tents and digging around to find and retrieve the head clasp.

All While Khal shrieked like an infernal being. His hands dug into Cuphead’s skin, but the soft porcelain was not penetrated by his claws. Merely Scratched up.

Mugman walked over and set the ring around Khal’s neck snapping it closed causing Khal to claw at it unable to unhinge the lock before the needle in the base clicked.

It wasn’t instantaneous, but Khal slowly stopped fighting and Cuphead was able to drop him.

Breathing in shakily Cuphead broke the newfound silence.

“Contact the Doctor.” Cuphead ordered, before turning back to look Mugman.

“Hopefully she’ll know what to do and have a servant on hand who can become the new Field Doctor.” He said and Mugman watched his brother. Knowing very well what was going through his head.

“Yes..... My Sovereign.”

Bendy had raised jasper so when she see's him again she legit ignores her owner to rush over and say hi to him.

Safe to say Cuphead probs bought her for Bendy since the 2 are very close~

How do in the Fieldking AU Mugman finds Boris??

How Mugman met Boris is also connected to him and Cuphead being turned into sovereign vampires. ~More lore below~

After being turned forcefully the Cup-brothers started to fight the venom and Cuphead started acting more violent and actually attacked Mugman which he had to be stopped since Mugs was already in a vulnerable state and any further damage could have killed him before the venom set in.

However, they didn't realize Mugman would make a run for it as soon as he got the energy too he ran out knocking himself down eventually once his speed started accelerating and he started shifting.

A curious Boris Pup found him and it didn't take long for Mugman to also become violent and attack Boris.

Of course, Boris survived, Mugman made sure that, once he was back to his senses. and so he took care of him for a couple of days before Fig found them.

Boris convinced her Mugman was fine, so he stuck around them for a while before Mugman was rediscovered by the vampires and they tried to take him back home.

This leads to a big fight and Boris and Mugman are taken back while Fig bleeds out in the woods (It's unknown if she made it, but the vampires were 'certain' she was dead.)

So Mugman ends up protecting Boris and refusing to leave his side. So he was forced to take responsibility for Boris and the 2 became close. Cuphead would never separate them so once he killed their master he took over and changed everything for the better. ^^

And thus he became the Field King.

So then how do Cuphead react that his brother has a little wolf who wanted to protect

Cuphead was a bit surprised at first but after calming Mugman down the two had a conversation about what the both of them had been through the past few years. Cuphead understood that Boris and Mugman really didn't want to leave each other due to their losses and he also had to work on fixing his and Mugman's relationship.

It's fine now, but at the time they had like 4-5 years away from each other where Cuphead became colder and Mugman became more wild, which their master tried to train out of him. He never really did succeed.
