God, Figgy really needed more screen time and character development. Just rewatched the Fledging Day episode and yeah, he definitely needs help.
It's me, Figgy.
Everything, Tuca. Everything.

iggy is much more realistic than fang (who is more idealistic) because he’s been disabled (nearly) his whole life, and traumatized in much different ways than the people who experienced the same trauma as him (because he is blind) and that is so fucking isolating for him. not only is he not a normal human. he’s not a normal birdkid either. he is *literally* the only person like himself who exists. he has always had a grim view of the world and reality. despite also being deeply traumatized, fang still has some of that youthful, dumb hope in him (max too) and i think this is a big reason iggy butts heads with both of them. max and fang had to grow up fast but they don’t understand that iggy had to grow up even faster than them. so much faster. and they’re too immature to understand because they are children, just like iggy is a child. but it makes iggy so… so … so so … so lonely….. and then when fang also becomes physically disabled and loses his wing, his whole worldview changes and he has this ego death, and he understands iggy in a new way. you know? he really sees him for the first time.
fang x iggy! faggy!…. i mean um. figgy!
They should do all the walk in pictures with a digital camera
