Gonna try and sum up that old project idea again cos I was super disorganized with my posts back then and can't find the first one, whoops...

The idea is kinda like Monster Rancher + Reccettear? It's a mons game petshop simulator!

Your goal is to raise cute monsters on your farm and help them to find forever homes with the right person in a cast of goofy npcs~!

The reason I was considering the names Moncrafter or Fiend Artisan was cos of all the work I put into developing the world of this setting. You see, all monsters are actually manmade creations invented by ancient alchemists! And nowadays this alchemy is only used by rich people to make servant beasts and decorative pedigrees, etc. Being a monster trainer is tied up in loads of fees and paperwork designed to keep the lower classes out. So your humble little farm is the first alchemy shop this lower class village has had in decades, and you have the potential to help give monsters back to the common people and change the world! Help take back the league from those rich toffs!! And also just brew up lots of cute pets in your cauldron, yay~!

I'm still working on drawing the protagonist cos I actually had a total brainwave for how to redesign them and that's what got me interested in the idea again. I'm thinking sort of a cross between Dr Phelgming from dragon quest 9 + red mage from final fantasy...? And their name/nickname is now Dizzy. I dunno why, that just seemed cute!

The lil kid sidekick/tutorial assistant character is still the same tho, I love Justy and I just need to finalize a good outfit for her. Also I have decided that her grumpy fangy fluffy old bunny monster pal is now the size of a cow. Because heck it's my story, I can decide that if those cute lil dudes live 80 years they look exactly the same but bigger!! I wanna sink into a hug of a giant grandma rabbit...

Trying to design a big ol scaryish monster that actually has a heart of gold and loves playing with children. I just know I want it to be some sort of bull or other top-heavy stylized thing, this is a completely random attempt at dragon + bull + i dunno why this colourscheme lol Tho it looks like.. more half bull half broccoli. Its meant to be a mane of scales. Like, i think maybe it could shake it to scare off other monsters with the sparkliness. Show of dominance- they call each other out at high noon and do like 'HOW LONG CAN YOU ENDURE MY MAXIMUM SPARKLE IN MAXIMUM SUN?' They kinda don't really realise that other monsters arent as spooked by bright lights. Oh and probably if this wasn't a medieval fantasy setting you could torment them with a lazer pointer. (But don't! They are sweet cows!) Oh and also i dunno if I want this particular character in this particular plot to be male or female? I think the cow colourscheme maybe looks a bit too busy with all the green. And I'd probably change the horns too, make it so that the cows have smaller horns or different horns cos i mean why not have horns when its half dragon, that would be a waste. But anyway the plot I have for it is that there was a Super Legendary Monster Tamer and this is his partner, a sweetheart giant cow pal who loved all the attention and when the lil kid fans would come and pet its scales and stuff. But then there was some sort of accident and the dragobull was blamed, people judging it on appearance alone and locking it up as a dangerous killer. And the legendary tamer guy fell from grace and now he's just a sad old grandpa watching his best friend monster he raised from an egg waste away in a cage and its all his fault... (And then obv you the protagonist would be able to resolve all this and clear his name and such.) anyway I'm tired and this is badly drawn and written and also i'm tired
