Allerlei klussen
Zondag was ook weer een productieve dag, buiten het vernissen van weerom een vloer vooral voorbereidingen voor het bewonen getroffen en een inkomhal/fietsberging gecreëerd.

Quiet before the storm
It's very quiet at the moment. I feel like I should be doing something, anything. It's almost a guilty feeling. But I've done most of the stuff I need to for now (I hope) and now I'm just waiting for the next few days to roll out. Mir is coming back tomorrow morning and then Now We Are Talking Festival is on the 2nd and the class introduction is on the 8th. Hrvoje from Croatia also arrives tonight but I won't see him for a bit I don't think. Christine arrives from Germany on the 2nd and I should meet her at the festival.
So with energy, a little bit of guilt and nothing to focus it on I took my new bike out for a spin around town. Got lost, again. Nothing a good U-turn didn't fix. Can't believe my ass is already a bite sore. Too used to chamies I guess. I stopped by school again but the student administration is only open for a few obscure hours each day and they weren't open til much later. I also went to DH Centraal Station to scope out bike parking so I wouldn't be in a panic tomorrow when I go back to Schiphol to pick up Mir. There are two types, up top and down below. You pay for the underground parking but it's more secure for multi-day trips.
I spoke to a bloke who was smoking near the outside parking. U spreek Engels? Ja. He said I shouldn't leave my bike up here for more than a few days. You'd have to be pretty unlucky to have your bike nicked amongst this lot. But I think old bluey is gonna get the royal treatment tomorrow anyway.
Thank you to everyone who's been emailing, chatting, tweeting or commenting, it's always nice. It makes me feel busy!
