A friend got me into the 2xko closed beta, on a break atm. Very fun, but I'm too used to motion inputs and keep getting tripped up by the simplified controls. I've been using Yasuo and can't seem to control when his airslash goes horizontally or diagonally. I checked rhe controls and it showed both, in sequence, so maybe it automatically picks one? Idk. I'm prolly being stupid.
Played in a vsav tournament my friend setup for halloween. I had a lot of fun and feel pretty good about my play, cuz even tho I went 3-4 and got 4th out of 8 I took one game in all but one set. I did somehow forget how to do some of Felicia's moves mid tournament.
But it took 2 hours and it turns out the way I was sitting hurt my back so I am now in pain. Its not sharp but it aches and gets worse when I move.
Moral of the story: practice more so I can remember inputs, and sit like a regular person.
wow i got sauced 3 times in a row with a new character and never have i gotten so mad so fast. really just had me questioning 'am i good at this? was i ever? was i carried by my previous character?' backed out immediately, no one needs to be around that, even if im stuck with it
