Wow, only ONE?! Okay, this is difficult cos there are so many people that I get inspiration from every single day, to pick one is very difficult.
Okay ... after giving this a lot of thought I'm going to give a shout out to: Georgie #fightingtobeback http://fighting2beback.tumblr.com/
Georgie is a professional wrestler who FRACTURED HIS SPINE in Sept. of 2012. He took the opportunity during his long recovery to work on his overall fitness and lose weight and a couple of months ago, he was back in the ring doing what he loves to do: wrestling.
When I think about what he's gone though, recovering from a fractured spine, then I realize that I've got it pretty easy in comparison. I haven't had to recover from any major illness or injury. I simply had to tame my carb-demon inside and get up off the couch.
The hard work and dedication he's put into his wrestling, including opening and running his own wrestling school, is an inspiration to me. He could've quit. He could've decided getting back in shape was just too hard or not worth it, but he didn't cos HE LOVES what he does and he fought to get back to it.
Being able to do what you love, what you're passionate about, well, that's a huge part of being fit and healthy, isn't it?
