I wonder where images like this derive from. I start with a gesture and I intuitively add to the gesture until it forms a coherent image. Each figurative drawing is different from the last. Who are these personas and what drives my cogent gesture to some familiar form? These images feel like memories from many past lives, the images encoded in a microscopic strand of nucleic acid, twisted up and coiled in an almost perfect package, passed from generation to generation. Are we encoded with a library of common visual images? Each generation grows a newly interpreted viewpoint, If the experiences we have are enough to catalyze a mutation in our DNA, then images must also be able to affect the same changes.
