Dream Diary: Fever Dreams January 28th and 29th

It's weird how my fever dreams involve themes of death and terror, but recently the main message is ESCAPING death. Maybe it's because I feel more capable and emotionally stable lately?

In my dream two days ago I was a little girl at a sleepover or get together with other little girls who were my friends. But then one of the girls became "possessed" somehow, and seemed bent on killing us. I think if she killed us, we would be possessed as well. In the end, me and three other girls had to kill them to keep them from spreading the curse and killing us. When our parents came to get us, I remember feeling sad that I had to kill my friends because of their curse.

Last night I was on this trip with people, and these people who looked like secret service agents kept trying to kill me. Then it changed to where I was BOTH my characters Figuro and Filthy, and I was also watching them. In the dream, Filthy was particularly fretting over not knowing the fate of his father. Which is odd, because I know as his creator that he did NOT have a good relationship with his parents.

Then there was a flashback to a coming of age ceremony where young Gauzeheads would receive an amulet or pendant of sorts for protection.

Flash forward to the future, Figuro and Filthy are much older and visiting a very far aware village. They are visiting a kindly old man, who shows them an old pendant.

"I'm sorry, but he died shortly after coming here all those years back. He was very weak, but we did our best to care for him…"

Filthy takes the pendant, I think he mutters a thanks of some kind. I see him and Figuro leave the old man's house, and Figuro turns to say "I'm sorry, my love." Filthy nods, and he's embraced by Figuro. Even if his father is dead, he finally has closure and a memento to remember him by.
