The FINAL FOUR images

These four images I will work with to create magazine layouts. I want to have an introduction page, previous collaborations and where to buy the clothing!

OUTCOME of shoot

Images turned out amazing!  The models looked great in the garments and looked perfect next to eachother. They were a pleasure to work with and we had a great time collaborating. 

The location was perfect as the sun came out and gave us amazing light to work with.   The natural light from the sun worked so well with the dark creating contrast.

NEXT I will select four images to work with...

Again, following the colour scheme of navy and red.

LOCATION SCOUTING 3 - FILA campaign

Again, inside another car park but this time there is natural light coming from the open air areas surrounding it. I feel this will bring a nice contrast with light and dark shadows. Being an indoor car park is great too as if it is raining I can still go on with the shoot. This is another factor I will need to consider when planning the day to shoot.

This location has a great balance between urban and contemporary geometric architecture. The industrial grey walls will be a great background for the images as they will compliment the red and navy colour scheme of the clothing.

The 3D looking walls have a geometric quality bringing contemporary dimensions. This will compliment the brand as they are a current sportswear brand. The graffiti also contributes an urban element which is what I aim to do. The lines on the ground can bring perspective and depth to an image. 

CONCLUDING my location scouting I will Choose location 3 as it has great potential to add texture and other interesting elements to my images for the campaign. This location works if the weather isn’t on my side on the day of shooting and has great contributing factors.

LOCATION SCOUTING 2 - FILA campaign

Inside a car park. Next to/ in front of the yellow pillar and yellow and blue fencing. This would create a great contrast between the red and navy colour scheme of the garments but it may distract too much from the subject (clothing), and even clash. Again, the lighting in this location isn’t great but I could use a reflector. If I were to use the reflector I would have to consider seeking assistance to hold the equipment. 

Now I will scout one more location to consider using for the FILA campaign.

FILA campaign - LOCATION SCOUTING 1

This location has potential but as a background it was distracting as it had many yellow signs. This wouldn’t be a problem but I prefer editing the images as little as possible, leaving the images natural. The lighting in this area was shaded most of the day as it was surrounded by buildings. I want natural bright lighting to show the colour of the garments as best they can. If in another location its the same scenario I will use a reflector to make the colours pop.

To follow this up I will scout more locations.
