Update on 2 Files!

Above are Princess Butter, & King Roland. Their backs are to you to show that the mesh issue that they were both having has been fixed, and they now look perfect!

@surely-sims messaged me earlier today with the truly delightful surprise that she had fixed King Roland & Princess Butter's mesh issues. Those packages have been updated, as well as the zipped folder with all the files. And a huge, heartfelt thank you to Surely, it was unexpected since people are busy, and such a kind thing to do. Now everyone can have nice-looking versions of them. And not only that, she also taught me how to fix that issue myself (the issue was split faces & floating edges). A million thanks, Surely!

If you already put these into your mods folder, all you have to do is move the new files into your mods folder, and select "move & replace"

UPDATED FILES

Hello, friends!  The very clever LuvMySimz on the S4S forum discovered that some of my uploaded files had a mismatch between the BaseFileNameHash and ModelID fields in the CutoutInfoTable resource and therefore weren’t working properly for some Simmers.  I’ve fixed that issue for the affected files, so if you’re having issues, please try re-downloading the following:

Daer0n doors and windows part 2

Tingelingelater’s City and Town build sets

Sooky’s Sicilian doors

Since I’m only a sample size of one, I really appreciate feedback about what’s not working.  There are so many moving parts in these files that it’s easy to overlook something small that may be preventing the object from functioning as it should.  It’s my goal to have these working for everyone on all computers, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re having issues, and we’ll figure it out! xx

Mini Object File Update

Hey everyone! A few months back I realized tattoo overlay boxes weren’t available for community lots when I attempted to create a tattoo parlor for my neighborhood. @deedee-sims helped me to make the tattoo boxes I was working on at the time enabled for community lots, and so only my very first tattoo boxes were left unfixed.

After playing my game again, I was reminded that I needed to update my remaining boxes. So, at your convenience, I placed the 3 updated Tattoo Object Files in one file HERE that you can just let these files replace the old ones. The original download links to the boxes HERE have also been updated with the fixed Tattoo Object Files.

Many thanks to DeeDee for teaching me how to enable the overlay boxes for community lots! and please make a tattoo parlor for Griffinmere, your community lots give me life XD

The Nature Poster from the Office Set has been edited & updated. One of my friends let me know that in her game, it was appearing very dark and shadowy. I found this was due to using a certain item as the base for the CC item, I've included some images and info below.

I’ve fixed it and updated all the downloads.

This is the item in Sims 4 Studio that I used as the base, due to it having 2 image spots in the file, and 2 mesh groups:

It makes it so that you can make the item without making one gigantic image texture file. But since it causes this issue in game, I will not be using it as a base anymore, at least until I figure out how to prevent this issue. For any other items that have this significant shadowing, please send me an Ask or DM so that I may fix it. I know it has been used here and there as a base so I am ready for and welcome messages on this.

Also, if any other creators know how to use/edit this base item so that it doesn't come out looking dark and shadowy, please please let me know so I can update this post with the remedy for this issue (I've searched and searched for an answer.) & just further info, I have already looked at the occluders (none) and there is no shadow in blender. It contains 2 meshes with the cut numbers 0 and 1.

The food tray #3 from the Hospital Set had the original medium and low LODs (so when you zoom out the object becomes shaped like a plant 🙃) I've fixed it and updated all the downloads.

Post-Trial Electro ID Update
