He’d give up in a fight he knows he can’t win, though he’s more likely to retreat than surrender. He’d also give up completely for several weeks once he discovers that all his family members are dead.

┐(‘～`；)┌ : When your muse can’t answer something, what do they do?

He bullshits an answer that sounds good, and then hightails it out of there before whoever asked the question realizes he doesn’t know shit. He hates admitting that he’s wrong or doesn’t know something.

Being abandoned, whether that’s being ignored by someone he considers a friend, or being left behind on a mission. He’s terrified to a slightly lesser extent by the prospect of being alone for long periods of time, and tends to draw attention to himself so he knows no one’s ignoring him.

Sleeps, mostly. There’s a good amount of angsting, studying, armor and weapon maintenance, and post-PFL ship maintenance and drinking.

01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?

Honestly, I picked it for the way it sounded. Jordan is, at least in the US, considered to be gender-neutral, and it seemed to fit him well.

07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)?

He laughs a lot, as a way of breaking uncomfortable situations and hiding how he’s feeling. He doesn’t really have a catchphrase though.

15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

Oh, I’m sure. His backstory is still a work in progress though, so I don’t really have a better answer than that. Perhaps the head of the fights when he was living on the streets, or a criminal boss. Perhaps someone from his time in the UNSC. It’s all still up in the air at the moment.

11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

Surprisingly not when his planet was glassed - he was just numb then. I’d say probably the first time he’s in battle with the UNSC?

21. If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?

He tends to think that he deserves it, quite honestly. I’m still working out the finer details of his character so I can’t tell you exactly why yet, but he definitely thinks that he’s caused or deserved whatever it is.

24. How quick is your character to trust someone else?

He’s not. He’s gotten very, very good at acting like he trusts someone, but it actually takes him quite a while to genuinely trust. Liking someone doesn’t necessarily mean trusting them, after all.
