A couple of things for you today.

One, my hypomania has passed and, under its influence, I cleaned my kitchen in one day. I also picked up half the living room. Apparently the kids were a little nervous that I was going to clean their room so they helped pick up the living room to ward me off. The successive migraines over the last few weeks have been what’s stopping me from getting the rest of this place straightened out. But, things are gradually improving and I’m hanging in there like a cat on a window screen. Two, I finally put up the second part of my essay on What is the Rule of Our Lady? A prayer to Déa for times of difficulty.

Dear Déa,

May it be that my works bring comfort and ease the sorrows of the world. Transmute my anxiety and suffering into words of hope and love. Transform my terrors, oh mighty Mother, into things of beauty and healing. Let my anguish no longer incapacitate me but move me to create as it did in the past. Help me rise up from this place of despair to where I may stand before you, healed by your Light. For Love’s sake, thus may it be.
