The Journey Begins
Welcome to my blog :). I never thought I would be the one to start a blog, mainly because everybody and their mother is doing it and I did not want to be in the same categories as others.
However, timing is everything and I decided to take a leap of faith with this. Now you're probably wondering why I even did this and I am more than happy to tell you. I'll start from the beginning......
Once upon a time in 2011 I had just graduated from high school. I had chosen my school, major (Dance), and was ready to make something of myself. Until one conversation drastically changed my view on life and the choices I had made. After having a conversation with who I thought was a trusted teacher and almost mother figure to me her last words to me were “Well what are you going to do with a Dance degree? You should look at something more stable”. This has always been a stereotype about Dance majors and up until that day I never cared to believe it.
My confidence was shot. Hearing that from someone so close to you is not an easy pill to swallow, especially at that age....
Fast forward to my college years, I went in as Undecided instead of Dance and eventually chose Communications as a major. That decision was a blessing in disguise. I fell in love with Film and Media and now I am here. Pursuing my dreams in any way possible.
I am that person that didn’t realize their potential until it was too late it was staring me dead in my face haunting my dreams and forcing itself to be noticed. It’s definitely not too late because here I am now typing away and eager to share my story with the world. This was my main motivation for starting this blog.
This blog will be everything I want it to be and more. It will feature random photos and short clips (maybe even short films) that I've recorded and edited myself. Mainly just for fun but if someone comes across my work and falls in love with it, that's great too right? I hope to inspire someone to NEVER give up on their dreams.
Thank you for reading!

Another dreamy saturated landscape. This rock looks good to climb on, it has steps, it could be the entrance to a kingdom, a spaceship, an alien landscape. Maybe it’s cause I just watched some old Dr. Who, but this would have excited me when I was a kid too (and I didn’t watch Who then). . Oregon Coast, August 2011 Holga 120S, Fuji Velvia 100
